As they talked and ate Manik pampered her with all he could.

He looked at her and looked on the road again

She panicked making him chuckle softly

First of all Mukti is not home because she and Cabir had a party to attend amd second she already loves you so stop stressing you tiny brain
He said petting her head

Wait why only the two of them and why not you and oh fuck you called me tiny again
Shee said narrowing her eyes he shook his head smiling and held her hand, bringing it to his lips he kissed it softly

He aid and she blushed

She said and her eyes shined with excitement

He said still holding her hand

Well watch movies all night ok
She said and he nodded

They kept talking about anything and everything and Manik had a bright smile on his face however even with her bubbly behaviour Manik could see Nandini was in some very deep thought

He did not know what it was but he knew that it had something to do with his past. Ever since he told her all that she was low

He said parking his car and moved out to open her door.

She came out and he held her hand taking her in

Before he knew she was long gone

Manik chuckled and went in to his own room

He changed into white t shirt and black tracks, Nandini went into the washroom and did her business.

She then opened the tap and splashed water on her face. She looked at her own reflection and frowned. She did not like it, there was a fucking scar on her forehead, a very small one that too on the side which was well hidden by her open tresses but still she did not like it. Period.

She came out and saw Manik was in his room arranging the cushions on the bed

Oh you're here come
He said and went to her, holding her hand he brought her to the bed

She asked and Manik misunderstood it

Hey, hey if you're uncomfortable we can go downstairs. Just please don't be mad at me
He blabberred and Nandini laughed shaking her head.

Dork I am comfortable I thought you won't be
He recalled how he pushed her away when she came here last time and his smile vanished. Nandini who saw this shook her head and went close to him and he hugged her

It's ok Manik don't remember all that you were not at fault
She said pushing herself more to his chest and he kissed her hair

I shouldn't have pushed you away

Yes you should not have done that but then again I forgive you so stop sulking and start the movie
She snuggled more to him and he turned on the AC and covered themselves with a blanket

As they watched the movie Nandini kept on looking at Manik, he was a kid. He would frown smile and laugh at the smallest things.

Nandini found it cute. He looked at her who was so engrossed in watching the movie.

Hungry ?
He asked and she nodded. He got up and moved down leaving behind Nandini who was following his trail

Instant pasta
He raised his brow and she bobbed her head cutely.

Manik laughed and made her sit on the slab. He cooked the pasta and Nandini helped him serve it.

They went back and continued watching the movie and eating together. After a while Manik saw Nandini sleeping and carefully tucked her in the bed and turning off the TV himself took the couch.

The next morning Nandini woke up and did not find Manik which made her frown however a fully dressed Manik came to her sight

Manikkk where were you
Nandini's subconscious self face palmed seeing her whining like a nagging wife

I got dressed in Cabir's room, as much as I would love to stay here with you I'm needed at the college
He said and she nodded

That's not much of a problem we're too supposed to be studying now for the accounts paper
She explained

You freshen up and I'll drop you on the way. Oh also you can go and wear something from Mukti's closet if you want to.
She looked at the time on the clock and sprinted outside

Go downstairs the one on right is Mukti's room
She heard him yell

Changing into Mukti's close she came out and sat in the living room

He said

I don't think she'll be happy

God stop thinking so much
He said and pulled her cheeks

Manik drove and dropped Nandini.

It was 11 in the night when Nandini's recieved a text

Do you mind coming out with me on the upcoming Friday

Nandini's eyes widen as she read the text

Nandini replied though she was dancing on the inside her text was smooth

He replied and Nandini had a huge smile on her face
