First Client

The silence of the room was broken by Mr Kediya when he started talking addressing Mishti and Nishant,
"As you guys know, for a while now I have been thinking about retiring and settling in my hometown. Since all of you are capable of handling cases on your own, I am closing my firm. Mein apne saare cases aur clients ko mere jitne bhi juniors hain, unke saath divide kar raha hoon. By now you might have guessed why I called you guys here."

They just nodded at him to continue, wanting to hear it from him.

"Rajvanshs here, they are one of my oldest clients and is like my family. I want their cases to be handled by the best. So I have decided to handover all the cases of Rajvansh group to you both."

"But Sir, hum hi kyon?" asked Nishant

"Like I said. I want the best for them. You guys are the best I have at present."

"But Sir, we haven't worked on any cases alone till now. Basically they will be our first client. We don't have enough experience." reasoned Mishti

"You both have assisted me in a lot of cases. I trained you guys for one year. I know your potential. As for experience, you both are already handling the legal matters of your own companies. So it won't be a problem." assured Mr Kediya

Defeated, they both agreed to him.

"We can start the proceedings for the handover tomorrow. Is that fine with you both?" asked Abir

The duo nodded in agreement. They concluded the meeting and went downstairs.

Since it was already lunch time, Abir asked the duo to stay for lunch. Though they were reluctant first, they agreed later. They all settled at the dining table and the lunch was served.

"Mishti aap dono ek jagah dhoond rahe the na, firm start kar liye. Did you get one?" asked Mr Kediya

"Nahi Sir. Kuch aur jagah hain dekhne ke liye. After that we will decide." replied Mishti

"If you want you can have my place. I was planning on selling it. I don't mind giving to you both." offered Mr Kediya

"Nahi Sir. Your place is in the city and near the Express Highway. We want a place near our home. A place where we can reach fast in case of any emergency. Is Mumbai ke traffic mein aapke office ke jagah pahoonchna aasaan nahi hain. But thanks for the offer Sir." explained Nishant

Abir thought about their answer and suddenly a thought struck his mind,
"Hey you can use the building next to this house as your office. It was actually used as an office by the previous owners of this property. When we bought this property, we got that also. I think it will be convenient for you both. It's near to your home and you don't have to go through the city to get here." suggested Abir

The duo pondered over Abir's offer.

"Can we see it?" enquired Mishti

"Yeah sure. I will take you after lunch."

After lunch, Mishti and Nishant along with Abir, Rohit and Kunal went outside. Instead of going out of the front gate, Abir took them to the backside of the house, where there is a gate on the wall separating the building from the house. The building has a formal entrance at the front and a gate to get to the house at the back.
Rohit moved forward and opened the door to the building.

It was two storey building. There was enough space for around twenty people to work. There was also enough space for extension if needed. They can even include a front desk reception along with a waiting area for clients. There was even space for break rooms and washrooms. Overall it was a perfect place for them. It met all their requirements.
