"dinner's ready!" billie called out as we finished cooking.

she turned to me. "you better not say anything about miles."

"or what?" i narrowed my eyes.

"or else we won't be doing anything for a week." she threatened.

"you wouldn't even last that long; you're honestly punishing yourself at that point." i huffed.

"you wanna bet?" she raised a brow.

"do you wanna bet?" i asked as i placed one hand on her waist to pull her closer, while my other hand lifted to grip her neck. i tightened my grip some, watching as her eyes rolled back.

"you're annoying." she spat as she looked at me with hooded eyes.

"and you're a brat."

i pulled her closer to press my lips to her's. i pulled back, dropping my hand from her neck as i placed a sweet kiss to the tip of her nose. "now, do you really wanna bet?"

i smirked lazily as she just replied with "just be nice to the kid."

"whatever. i guess i'll try to."

"you better." she warned.

we brought the food to the table. the plates and everything were already sat out.

leo and elijah were sitting at the table, talking about who knows what. jackson was on his phone, and iris and miles were talking. iris had a big smile on her face as she listened to him talk.

once everybody sat down and began eating, i looked towards miles.

"so, what do you plan on doing after high school? are you going to college, or..?" i asked.

"uh, to be honest, i have no clue." he gave a small chuckle.

"do you want to go to college?" i quizzed.

yes, i know that i dropped out of college, but that's not the point right now.

"uh, probably not." he shook his head.
