Mother (3rd person)
"Odin." Idunn gulped. He, the king of Asgard was here.
I am not ready for this.
"I'm here to collect my yearly supply." Odin's tone was brisk, and Idunn wondered if he had entered her mind and had already figured out the problem that she had found with the apples.
"Well see, about that..."
"What is it?" Odin was sharp, and Idunn braced herself.
"My harvest was not as it usually was this year. You will not be receiving your full year's worth of apples, I'm afraid. And no, there is nothing I can do about it."
What happened next should never have happened. It was really quite concerning- Odin's character really was hysterical and maniac-like, and no one should have to deal with it. But unfortunately, Idunn did have to face his wrath, at least eventually, because who couldn't? Anyone but himself was due to get a lashing sometime, and in Idunn's opinion it was inhumane.
But when were kings humane?
This time, Idunn was due to a lashing.
Odin scowled and golden magic rose around him, taking Idunn by the arms and then forcefully pushing them both back as far as they could go before she heard a loud pop and a crack. Idunn doubled over with the amount of pain that was blossing among her chest, shoulders and back. She looked to the sides to see her arms lip, both bent at an angle they definitely should not be. She cried out loud when Odin gave her arms another push with his magic, just to really sent them in place there.
"I will take all the apples you have, and ever will have. If you do not comply, then your arms will permanently be twisted like this. Do you accept my terms?" He was a cruel being, Odin, and made horrible choices.
"Yes," Idunn grunted, and the pain immediately stopped. She looked down again to find her arms in their normal positions. She let out a sigh of relief. Idunn then gets up, and hesitantly waves her hands. A door opens up on the far wall, and the hint of gold glints on the inside. Odin grins and storms over to the room. With another movement of his arms more golden magic appears, and Idunn's full apple supply is gone.
Odin turns back to Idunn. "Thank you for this. Your contribution is much appreciated."
"Contribution to what?" She growls, but Odin merely give her a ghost of a smile and walks out her front door. Idunn stands there, not willing to chase after the king of Asgard (she doesn't want her arms broken again) until she sees another walking up the hill. For a second she believes that it's Odin again, and goes to close her door, even though it wouldn't help, but then she sees green and gold.
"Loki?"

You
You pace in your room, not letting yourself stop even for a second, because if you do you might explode from the array of emotions that will surface. You feel sensitive, which is something that you hate. You don't want to feel like a cute kitten will make you cry. You want to feel like your mind is impenetrable, where no feelings like these can enter. If only you could be a fortress of solitude, then maybe things could work out in your head.
But no, there was a party going on in your head. It wasn't the nicest party, either. More of a place where you would get wasted and then wake up with no clothes on wondering where you were and who was beside you.
