Percy's POV

Landing in my room in Atlantis, I shot to my dresser to pack clothing. I couldn't stay here. Even though none of the other gods would dare step food in another's domain, I couldn't risk there actually being a war over me. I wasn't worth that. I didn't want demigods to be dragged into this mess and getting killed because they were aimed at each other.

In the midst of my packing, the door to my room opened and my father along with Triton came in looking worried.

"Percy are you alright?" asked my half brother first.

"I'm fine but I need to get out of here." I answered, turning back to the task I was doing before they came in.

"Yes you do. Zeus and his paranoia will stop at nothing until he sees you sent to Tartarus," my father said.

That made me pause and drop the jacket in my hand. Tartarus.

THWACK!

Fight for your life, sea spawn.

Come on sea spawn, the savior of Olympus can do better than that.

Let's see how well you do without your eyesight.

Pathetic.

THWACK! CRACK!

Good. Bring in the next opponent.

THWACK!

"PERCY!" I heard vaguely.

As my vision cleared up I could feel my father's hands around mine and Triton's body supporting mine. My father's worried face became clearer and clearer until I came to the realization that I was still in my room in Atlantis. I wasn't there.

Once my father saw that my eyes were no longer glazed over and I had stopped shaking he gently asked, "Sea star, are you okay?" He ran his thumbs over my knuckles soothingly.

I tried to smile lightly at him to give a reassurance that I was okay but I think it came out more like a grimace. "Yeah dad, I'm fine," I said back in a hushed tone.

I knew neither one of them believed me but they also knew they couldn't do anything about it.

"I'm sorry sea star. I was careless with my words. I didn't mean to..." my father started before he trailed off in guilt.

"I know dad. There's nothing to feel bad about. I know," I said soothingly back to him.

Triton behind me ran his hand up and down my arm to get my attention but also to comfort me a little. It was the reassurance that he was there for me.

"Father, we need to hurry," he said to the god that we shared DNA with.

Dad snapped out of the guilty daze he was in and pulled me up off the floor and onto my feet. "Right, thank you son." He turned to stuff the rest of my clothes into my charmed bag and I was guided out of my room.

"What do you mean? Where are we going?" I asked the two of them in confusion.

"You were right when you said that you need to leave, but you are not going to do this alone. Apollo, Aphrodite, Hestia, and Hades have agreed that Zeus has lost his mind in paranoia and you do not deserve to die. They've agreed to help us get you somewhere safe," my father informed me as we moved through the halls of Atlantis to his war room.

We entered the double doors to the war room. In the middle was a round table filled with sand. The table was able to morph into an image of whatever battle ground was being discussed. It was efficient and better than having to make new maps every time there was a new location of battle.
