We go through multiple moments in our lives. It may be moments of sadness, of happiness, of celebration, of fear, or of excitement.
There are some moments that remains in us which would eventually define us and shape us as to who we are today.
For Tzuyu, this is one of those moments.
Jeongyeon was happy with the result of the match. Although Tzuyu lost, she's still willing to part with Torchic as she's now confident with her skills as a trainer as evident in their match.
In the first place, she never said that Tzuyu has to beat her. She only said that she has to fight her.
Nayeon was about to announce the result of the match, when she suddenly saw Jeongyeon's shocked face.
Jeongyeon looked at her phone as she saw that Rowlet still had 1 HP left, meaning the match is not yet over.
Her shock further grew as she saw Rowlet's HP returned back full. Jeongyeon was wondering what happened.

As the dust cleared, everyone saw Rowlet shining brightly as if absorbing the power of the sun as Tzuyu already gave her command. And that's when Jeongyeon figured it out.
"Your Rowlet knows Synthesis?!" Jeongyeon asks with surprise in her face.
It's a good thing Tzuyu and I prepared for this match. It's finally time for the last trick up her sleeve.
---FLASHBACK---
"Tzuyu. Let Rowlet level up high enough to learn Synthesis." You said.
"Wouldn't it be too hard? With the time left, I don't think we can make it on time for the match in the morning."
"That's why our mock battles won't be enough. We have to return to Route 101 to battle with the wild Pokemon there to gain experience." You explained.
Tzuyu understood that this was her only choice. She looked at Rowlet and saw that the Pokémon was willing to put in the work to have a winning chance. With that, she agreed with you and started the training.
After a few hours of non-stop battling with the wild Pokémon, Rowlet was finally able to use Synthesis. You offered to rest for a bit but the duo was determined to push on.
With the preparations done for the battle, you were now walking back home with your Pokémon beside you.
You turned to Tzuyu as you further explained the move.
"Synthesis allows the user to restore its HP. Greater HP would be restored if the sun is out and high."
"Oh, so that's why the healing was less this time, because there's no sun." Tzuyu realizes.
"Yeah it looks like it."
"Then I hope it doesn't rain tomorrow." Tzuyu says.
"Actually, I think rain might be a good weather condition for you." You stated.
