Lumine ran away. She couldn't face them. Not now. She couldn't bring herself to. Not the way she was now. 

                          
She kept running, distraught and blank of mind. She didn't want to think. She didn't want to see anyone. She just couldn't come to terms with anything now. 

                          
Just what had she set out for? To save her brother, right? But she hadn't gotten any closer to her destination. Not only that, she'd failed to help Azhdaha. She was completely useless. Priestesses were supposed to be all great and stuff. Then why was she like this? So irredeemably hopeless? Can anyone, can any reader, just tell her what she did so wrong? 

                          
She suddenly felt an impact as she crashed into somebody, and fell down on the ground. 

                          
"Owwie-" a familiar voice groaned. She looked up to meet the familiar emerald eyes of a boy she'd thought she'd never see again. The one who'd revealed himself quite nonchalantly to be a god.
