If you have made it so far, then I guess a huge thank you is in order.
When I started this book over a year ago, I had honestly no idea if I would be able to finish it. Thanks to your support, your votes and your comments, as well as the help of my father (who reread every single chapter and pointed out mistakes) and my brother @Aurelien714 (who searched for every single inaccuracy), I was able to do the task of completing an entire book (which has more than 130.000 words!).
It has been an amazing experience, that I would recommend for everyone to try. Being able to coordinate my imagination and my ability of getting work done is not easy, and has sometimes been a bit of a struggle for me, but what a reward it is when it finally gets completed!
If you compare the first and last chapters, you'll surely see some improvement. The first chapters weren't that well-written. But I know that as long as writing is done, it can always improve, which is why I would encourage anybody to take this challenge (and don't hesitate to dm me if you want any advice on writing)!
And as a non-native speaker, I think that my grades in English will thank me immensely for writing this story. If you have seen mistakes or any expression that didn't make sense, I'd be very thankful if you pointed it out, because there's always room for improvement!
And now to the good part:
There will be a second book!!
Okay, let me explain in more detail. This story is not exactly going to be a second story as it's going to happen a bit before, at the same time and after the story of this book is taking place, only in Marguerite's POV (Anna's older sister). I hope that also explains the kinda cliffhanger at the end of the epilogue. I'm super excited for this new project, and I hope you will like it! I'm going to write the first few chapters before beginning to publish the story so I have more time and less stress to get my chapters out. So, it's coming in a couple of months, I guess! And I have a feeling it's going to be an exciting ride!
Another announcement:
I will be translating this book in French!
It's mainly for my grandma because she doesn't speak English and really wants to read my book. I'm also going to publish it on Wattpad, so if you're studying French, or you already speak French, go ahead! It's also coming soon, so stay tuned!
