If I'm wrong, I am right / Severus Snape x reader

It was the first school week of the new year. Finally you could see everyone again. But the person you were most exited to see was Severus. That is somethng you don't share with anyone here. Every student hates him and some are even scared of him. You never hated him or any person ever. Of course there are people who hurt you but you would never use the word hate frivolously.

In your 5th year you came to Hogwarts and he was incredibly mean to you. The day you first saw him was at the first potions class at Hogwarts. He looked at you as you entered the classroom with disgust and despise . It was weird but relatable. The students are always loud and disinterested in class, it must be so exhausting to teach a new class every year.

The first thing he said to you, was also someting mean. You couldn't remember exactly what he said but it must have been something like ,,Either you sit down or you can walk right away. I don't need students to whom I have to say everything and find it difficult to sit down." This made you speechless. You just entered the room, never saw him before and that's the first thing he said to you.

,,Exuse me?" you said, still confused. The other teachers were so kind, especially Professor McGonagall. She showed you the castle after she saw you in front of Dumbledores office completely lost.

,,I think I made myself clear. Sit down and shut up." he said and you did what he commanded.

That's a good example to show how relatable the stundents are who hate him. Hate it a strong word and it's probably not the right word to describe it. Anger describes it better. Anger against a teacher who scares and offends others. A person who seemingly can't control their emotions or feelings as good as others - but appearances are often deceptive.

If anyone had come to you the first year here and had told you that in a few years he's the person you're most exited to see after the summer holidays, you would have laughed and never believed it.

After you went to your new room it was dinner time. You entered the grat hall and it felt like home again. Everyone was happy to be here , everyone was talking , laughing and hugging each other. You sat down on the table and then there he was. He sat on the teachers table and in the same moment you saw him, he looked at you and nod. He would never smile in public or admit that you two are friends. Friends - indeed he was your friends. one of the dearest friends you ever had.

Last year he got married and he was never so happy before. His wife wasn't a teacher - she owns a small shop in Hogsmead but not many people know about their marriage. It's not a secret but he is the , misanthrope' teacher and she's a sunshine who's always kind to others She's very popular and all students who went at least once to Hogsmead probably know her. She owns a shop called ,,Everything" and his name does justice to it. You can literally find everything - from coats and pencils to tea and candys. She's really beautiful and pretty smart. Severus desveres her, he deserves a person who makes him this happy. Of course he doesn't show it on the outside - he would never and to the other students he seemed like always but you could see it in his eyes. He was the happiest man on earth.

It took you a lot of time to get close to him but once you were , it surprised you how funny and nice he is. He's a incredibly talented man not only in potions or defence against the dark arts or any other magical stuff, he's also a good , really good writer. The poems he wrote made you almost cry from the beauty and the sadness in it. But you have a feeling , that you're not able to understand it completely. It was about him, about his last and the feelings he never speaks of. But is it even possible to understand any poem completely?

,,You're a gifted man." you said once , on a beautiful afternoon in fall you spend with him and his wife. She had her legs on his lap and you were sitting in front of them on the other couch with a cup of tea.

He smiled at you before he thanked you. Till this day you're sure that this meant a lot to him. He's so insecure sometimes and reading this out loud must have been a big step for him. He never said anything about it but you just know.
