,, I missed you so much Severus. How are you?" you said after he handed you a cup of tea.

,,Very well y/n." he replied with a smile. That's one thing the students probably never saw before - Professor Snape laughing and being friendly.

,,Come on Sev just admit you missed me too. Just a little bit."

,,Maybe a little bit." he smirked. Of course he did, you're his dearest friend and without you he would be lost. Not in a >I'm alone< kind of way (because he has a beautiful wife) but in a >my life at Hogwarts would be boring< way.

,,I know you did. What would you do without me sevy." You laughed at him and punched his shoulder softly.

,,I told you not to call me like that." he said with sarcastically strict voice.

,,Yeah you did but I don't care Sevy. I like to  provoke you. "

,,Of course you do. " he said trying to sound serious.

,, How is Alena doin? Haven't seen her in a while."

,,She's doin great. She's really busy in the shop right now because of the school beginning, maybe we can eat dinner sometime. We haven't done this in a while." he said and drank his coffee. It was nine p.m and he drank coffee (black as usual). It seems like he's never sleeping and sometimes he looks like that.

,,That would be great. After all this time we know each other I'll never understood why you're drinking coffee so late at the afternoon, Sevy. Are you ever sleeping?"

He laughed but it was a nervous laughter.

,,Don't worry y/n I'll sleep. Maybe not much but I do. At the moment I stay up til late at night because I miss her. That sounds stupid because she's not far away but still."

He's being honest. Another thing that took him a while but he knows he can trust you. You would never tell anyone anything he told you , not even Alena his wife.

,,It's not stupid. It just shows how much you love her. I'm so happy for you Severus." you smiled at him and you really, really meant it.

,,That's kind of you y/n. I really appreciate you." he answered and it almost sounded sad. He was sleeping during school time in his chambers at the castle, not in the house he bought last year with Alena. It's not far away but too stressful to go there everyday and come back early in the morning. And for her it's easier to sleep in the house first because it's near to the shop and second he doesn't want too much attention not only because it annoys him but also to protect her. Everyone knows her and when the students see them together they will probably ask her too many questions.

,,I can stay here the night if you want to."

,,You don't have to do that y/n, really. "

,,I don't have to but I want to, if I don't bother you of course."

,, You're never a bother y/n." he smiled. Again. At first you annoyed him pretty muh even if you didn't say anything but now you could never. You mean too much for him.

,,Great, so I stay. I sleep on the couch, do you have a blanket for me Sevy?"

,,Not of you continue calling me that."

,,Shut up, Sevy and give me a blanket."

He stood up but instead of getting you a blanket he picked you up and put you over his shoulder.

,,Let me down Severus." you yelled between your laughers.

,,Let me think of that for a moment. No , I won't." he replied.

,,Severus Tobias Snape if you don't let me down-"

,,Then what? You'll put magic on me? We both know you have no chance against me."

You kicked and punched him but it didn't helped.

,,You're an asshole."

,,Oh am I ? " He said laughing and then he threw you on the couch. You immediately stood up as he turned around to get you a blanket. You jumped on his back and he was frightened briefly (but of course did not admit it).

,,I got you Severus." you said.

He kept walking as nothing happened, like you're not hanging on his back.

As he entered his bedroom he walks straight to his closet to get you a blanket. He put it out and put it on his bed - and you were still on his back. Suddenly he turned around, with his back to his bed.

,,If you don't get off me I'll lay down and that'll hurt." he said amused.

You got off his back and he turned around again, now facing you. And then he pushed you out of nowhere on his bed. You let out a scream because you didn't expect that.

He laughed and that warmed your heart. He doesn't laugh often and if he does it's just a grin.

,,Not so brave now, are you?"

,,Shut up" you replied and tried to kick him.

,,I put the blanket on the sofa." he said and left you on his bed.

You took a few breaths before you got up. His bed was so comfortable and his room was nicely decorated but that's probably not his merit. Last time you were here (when he wasn't married) it was way more dusty, messy and disorganized. She changed his room a bit and it looked pretty nice.

It's clean and the books were in the big shelf along the wall, the dresser was organized and on the bedside table , there were no more cups or books stacked up, but there were flowers for decoration (but meanwhile already dried up)

,,Y/n?" called his voice.

,,I'm coming." You said and stood up.

,,Your room looks different but that was probably her who changed or better to speak cleaned it, right?"

He looked up and nodded.

,,The first thing she done when she first came here was cleaning my messy
room. "

,, Finally someone did it(....) I'm pretty tired right now, I would like to go to sleep."

,,Sure. Good night y/n, sleep well." He said and was about to leave the room.

,,Sevy, I need some clothes to sleep in."

,,Of course I'll give you a shirt of mine of that's okay?" he said kindly.

,,Yes, thank you."

After you got changed, you layed down on the sofa hearing Severus breathing from his room and the fire burning.
