Here is chapter 17. I apologize for it being so short; I'm currently editing chapter 18 and hope to post it before Thursday!

Marc and I played four rounds of a racing game before I finally accepted defeat. I had tried to cheat once in the first round, but Marc threatened to sit on me. Marc was currently in the middle of his victory dance, something he apparently did every time he won. Every. Single. Time. It would last about five minutes then he would be begging me to play again. I wasn't quite sure why he was so excited about winning a game.

The scent of sugar had me turning around on the couch. Luke stood behind me with his warm brown eyes narrowed on Marc. I smile brightly. I enjoyed Luke's company, so I was glad that he was here. Luke winked at me. My heart fluttered happily.

"When did you get here?" I asked.

Marc's chanting and cheering stopped, and he whipped around to face Luke. Marc's cheeks flushed as a growl escaped him. Luke grinned wickedly. My eyes flicked between the two. Luke saw Marc's muscles tense when I did, which was a second before the older boy launched himself over the couch. Marc was a tad too slow, though. Luke had darted out of the way. Marc quickly caught himself so that he wouldn't slam into the floor.

Rolling my eyes, I stood from the couch. I walked around the sofa heading for Marc. Luke's eyes never left Marc, but I knew that he was tracking my every move. When I came to a stop in front of Marc, he tossed Luke a cocky smirk. Poor guy thought that I was on his side. He'd been standing with his legs braced apart, preparing for Luke's attack. Marc had relaxed. I moved one of my legs in between his and put my hands on his chest. His eyes dropped down to look at me. Those blue and green orbs swirled with something I couldn't quite identify.

I gave him my best smile as I hooked my ankle around his and shoved my hands into his chest. Marc crashed to the ground, and Luke let out a whoop. His arms wrapped around my waist as he spun me around.

Axel was the first to come to see what the sound was. Spotting Marc on the floor, he rolled his eyes and planted his shoulder against the wall. Owen, North, and Kota stormed through the front door. Poor Kota's cheeks were still pink.

I looked back down at Marc, "I think that qualifies as a win for me."

Marc's growl was playful this time as he jumped at me. Luke still had his arms around me, though, and easily evaded him. Luke's laughter made my heart thump harder in my chest. I don't think I'd ever heard a lovelier sound.

"You're still too slow, Marc." Luke teased. He set me on my feet and spun me around so my face was in his neck. I could hear his heart racing. Tightening his arms around me, he said something else to Marc. I was too focused on him to listen to his words. Luke gave great hugs. The skin on his neck was so soft and warm, and he smelled like cookies.

Axel's familiar scent filled my senses as his arms dragged me away from Luke. Luke looked quite offended. "She almost added another one to the list." Owen raised a brow, and my cheeks heated.

Luke's head tipped to the side, showing off his neck with a massive grin on his face. "One day, cupcake, you'll find the two of us alone without overbearing Alphas breathing down our necks." He shot a look at Axel before pressing a kiss to my forehead and leaving the apartment. North followed him.

"Better watch out for that one; he's quite mischievous," Axel warned.

Marc groaned and threw himself onto the couch. "That kid is so annoying."

Kota's lips twitched before he narrowed his green eyes at him, "how did Luke get into the room without you knowing Marc?"

Marc's lip curled, a low growl rumbling in his chest. Owen pushed his glasses up his nose with his forefinger. "Perhaps more training is in order."

Marc's jaw dropped open, and he turned to Axel for help. I had a feeling that the Alpha behind me was going to offer him no support. I felt a little bad for Marc.

"Can I train with him?" The silence and stillness that followed my question made me want to giggle. I had shocked them.

Marc jumped over the couch and wrapped me in a hug. "That's a great idea, Sang! We can be training buddies."

A heavy sigh escaped Kota. He leaned against the wall; with one hand, he pinched his nose, and with the other, he reached into his pocket to pull out his phone. He typed something before slipping it back into his pocket. Owen raised a brow, and not even a moment later, all their phones started going off. Marc held his phone out for me to see.

Kota: Sang wants to do training with Marc.

Luke: ME TOO!!!!

North: I'll oversee their training. Luke, you can't join.

Luke: WHAT? Marc can't even tell when I enter the room. Cupcake clearly needs someone more qualified to train with.

Gabriel: I want to watch.

Nathan: I can help train her.

Silas: I'll be there.

Brandon: Same here.

Dr. Green: Pookie wants to train? She'll need a physical first.

Victor: Why does Sang need training?

Corey: I have a feeling you all will need me there.

Raven: I will train her.

North: You're not training Sang Baby.

Raven: I'm the most qualified.

Nathan: What does she need training in?

Marc started typing.

Marc: What? No. Only I get to train with her.

"I'll make a schedule," Kota said as he casually strolled out of the apartment.

Owen: Kota will make a schedule. Axel and I will discuss with Sang to see what interests her.

Marc: Kota, you are dead.

Marc looked up. His eyes were obviously looking for one person who had just left the room. A grunt escaped him as he headed for the door. He was mumbling under his breath about Betas being annoying.

I looked at Axel, "isn't Marc a Beta?"

Axel nodded before putting his hand on the back of my neck. "You're trouble, Sang."

My stomach let out a rumble drawing the eyes of both Alphas to me. Owen looked at Axel, who walked to the kitchen, pulled some pamphlets out of a drawer, and handed them to me. They were menus. I flipped through them, choosing the one for an Italian restaurant; lasagna was one of my favorites.
