the curly haired boy picked up at the green , slimy creature , the animal made noises as he picked it up .

" d'Atagnan ? " mike wheeler asked , a disgusting / confused look on his face .

" dart for short . " dustin kept the smile on his face .

velma and max gave each other a look of disgust , before grabbing each other's hands .

" and he was in your trash ? " the ginger asked , squeezing velmas hand .

"foraging for food ! " the curly haired boy thought for a few seconds , before - " do you want to hold him ? "

max immediately dropped velmas hand , and started to protest . " no , no , i don't want too - "

"he doesn't bite . don't worry , don't worry - " just as he dropped dart into the gingers hands.

" oh , god ! he's slimy . " max immediately threw dart into velmas hands .

once mike got the slimy creature , he started to inspect it , trying to figure out what he was holding .

" what is he ? " the dark haired boy asked .

" at first i thought it was some kind of pollywog. " dustin started , as he slammed some books on the table .
