When I woke up, I felt like I was back from dead. The room was covered in darkness and I thought it was night. But when I looked at the digital clock beside the bed, it was still afternoon.

But even after all this sleep, I felt so tired that I leaned back and closed my eyes.

I have to calm down and take things easy. I breathed in and out several times, concentrating on my breath.

Just then, I heard the door slightly open, and someone come in.

I opened my eyes slowly and saw him. It did not shock me and I tried best to come in terms with his presence.

He did not speak for few moments and then slowly he left the room.

I sat quietly and stared at the door when it opened again minutes after, but this time Alice entered with a huge tray in her hands, followed by him.

"Oh Ma'am thank God you are awake! You made us all worried. But don't worry, it is all okay now. And it will be better if you eat.", And she placed a tray before me.

To be honest, I was hungry. And the sight of food, made me hungrier.

I ignored the two and dived for the food.

Alice left midway and he settled on the couch, working on his laptop.

When I was done, I kept the tray away and leaned back sighing.

I heard him stand up and then shuffle for something before he walked over me.

"Here.."

I finally looked at him and saw him holding few tablets in his hand.

"..these are prescribed by the doctor. You had a fever, and you looked pale."

Though I was full and had enough energy to fight him, but my fighting spirit was on holiday today, and so I silently took the tablets and gulped them down.

"I want to buy the best gifts Alice. And make sure the jet is prepared. The least I can do is use the facilities that come with this shitty marriage."

She nodded and wrote it down, "Anything else ma'am?"

I shook my head, "Nothing for now. But I want you to suggest me some dress for the baby shower? I mean what do they wear?"

"Uhm... ma'am may be a pink sundress? It's a baby girl after all."

I instantly liked the idea, "Perfect."

I was in the living room discussing stuff when my house keeper, Gaby, the beautiful old woman, announced it is dinner time.

We had a huge dinner table and I was accustomed to sitting on the head of the table, so when that sorry excuse of husband came, he looked at my seat like he wants it. But guess what, my fighting spirit was back.

I sat comfortably, making it clear with my posture that I am not going anywhere.

He sighed defeated which made me smirk to myself and sat on the chair adjacent to me. His five buff men were standing as if in punishment, and I looked at them incredulously.

"Hey men! I do know you all are not robots, so stop acting like ones and settle here and have food. Alice! You too."

But all of them stood still, looking at, not me, but the man beside me. And that was when I understood what it was all about.

"Well...if you all are afraid of my husband, then let me tell you all that this is my place, as I am his rightfully wedded wife. And my place works on my rules! And I don't think of you all as employees. I and he need you."

Alice moved to take a place, while the bodyguards still hesitated.

Alexander finally looked at them, and asked them to sit, after which they complied. Loyal bitches.

Soon after Will also came and Gaby too. And then the table looked like a huge family table, and I couldn't help but feel so happy about it.

The only good point the presence of my husband assured was the number of humans here increased, which I appreciate.

I couldn't help the grin, and when I was attempting to look away from the full table, my eyes met the green ones, who were already watching me smiling like an idiot.

That made me stop smiling but I felt happy.

I asked all of their names and tried to converse as much as I can.

The names of the guys were Nicholas, Damon, Liam, Ashel and Brian. Three were married except Liam and Ashel. Damon even had two kids who I presented the offer to meet.

The fact that my husband was so less of a talker, and was getting irritated as I talked, only pumped me more to talk.

I went in the bedroom and searched in the drawers one of the cards that I must have kept here a month or two ago.

Life took a toll on me, and it was getting hard to tolerate all. The fact that other people influence my feelings so much alerted me.

Two months ago, I fell ill the same way, and my doctor heard my problem, that mainly constituted anxiety. He gave me a card and asked me to keep it for future sake.

At that time, I found it absurd. But now, I feel I need it.

In that huge stack of cards, I found a particular blue coloured one, that had the name of Dr. Khai Tsung who was a Japanese in origin.

I think it is high time I visit a therapist.

"What are you looking at?", The voice made me jump and I turned around to see him standing there looking curiously at me.

Moments later, I composed myself, "What is it to you mister?"

"You know...one straight answer can also be appreciated."

"Well, nothing that you should know."

He shrugged and I took a breath of relief but that lasted for a very short time.

"I will hire an investigator love!"
