Author's Note: I couldn't add the AN at the end, you'll see why. After you finish the chapter, come back up and help me out some.

What other questions do you have, lore wise?

Shall I drop in a "Gabe Babe"?

An "Owie"? (Although, this'll probably happen, no matter what you guys say.)

I need suggestions for a name for Owen's date that he lied to Sean about.

Although I already have the order of uh... defurring the boys laid out, who are you most excited about?

Will you feel cheated if some/all the boys have their bonding happen "off screen"?

What kind of monsters would you like to see some of the Ghost Bird villains turn into? (I realized today that I can't just end the story with getting Victor out, and there needs to be like.. drama and... plot.)

And, finally, I have an overabundance of snark right now, and no one to shower it on, so, once I have time to sit down tonight, you might find some comments off to the side of Author speak translations. ;)

I heart heart every single one of you reading, and know that each notification I get for a vote or a comment makes me so flippin' happy!!!!

**********

After a sweet interlude with Sang in the master bath, Owen and Sang were both dressed; her in yoga pants and an oversized shirt, him in his requisite suit, minus the jacket and plus some tongue-in-cheek comments by Sang on knights and their armor.

The pair had eaten, and Sang was curled into Owen's side on the couch. Her feet were tucked underneath her, and Owen's arm was wrapped around her waist. Owen's hand had disappeared under the shirt, giving them some of the contact they needed.

Henry Anderson and his teammate, William, sat across from them. Henry scrutinized Sang, and only Owen's hand smoothing up and down her side kept her from folding into herself.

"Sang, how are you?" Henry started asking, but as soon as Sang opened her mouth for her classic "I'm fine", he interrupted. "Wait, don't just say 'I'm fine'. I knew better than ask like that." He rubbed his hand through his hair. "Could you describe how you felt before Owen arrived?"

Sang pushed her finger against her lip while she tried to find the words. "Pain. It... felt like... there was something inside me that needed to get out, even if it tore me apart in the process."

"And now that Owen's here with you? Do you still feel like something's there?"

She cocked her head to the side and chewed on her lip. "It's like... I'm a door, and the door's shut tight, but there's wind blowing. I don't really notice the rattling unless it's quiet or I pay attention. Touching Ow..." Sang paused and her eyes flew to Owen's face. She flicked her eyes back to Henry, and bumped her head against Owen's shoulder "Touching Mr. Blackbourne makes even the wind stop."

Henry met then held her gaze, then nodded. William pulled out his phone and started typing.

"That's the best we can expect for right now, but I have a feeling the reprieve won't last very long." Seeing that Sang's attention was split, Henry shrugged his head in William's direction. "Lily was worried about you, but we needed her at home, pulling the Academy back into shape.

"I assume that by now, you both have an idea of what happened. It seems most of the established teams have been affected. From the information we've collected so far, most of the all-dog teams went wolf."

Sang failed to hold onto a giggle, which earned a raised eyebrow from Owen. She squeaked out a small sorry and schooled the smile off her face.  Owen pressed a kiss to the top of her head as Henry continued.
