"Rule number one: Never leave tracks, especially in murder," Dazai states to the children, receiving a slap in the head by Chuuya after.

"See, Jemima, you need to be careful about what is on the ground. Tripping over a rock can cause 3 issues. 1) Noise... 2) Slows you down... 3) Leaving tracks... Leaving everything as it is is the best way to remove suspicion."

Chuuya hadn't seen this side of Dazai since... Well... Akutagawa. He fully hopes that Dazai won't go too hard on these kids.

Chuuya walked over to a small group of kids which he was supposed to get ready for the escape. Anna, Gilda, Chris, Mark and Alicia all sat in a little huddle until they noticed the red-head joining them.

"Okay, Gilda should know how to do this but I'll tell you all right now. When someone has a cut on their arm, what should you do?"

Chuuya had much experience helping Dazai with his injuring and cuts. Chuuya was like Dazai's Guardian Devil instead of Angel since Chuuya kept Dazai alive during his attempts at death. Replacing chemicals, cutting the noose, wrapping Dazai's wounds when he was sleeping... etc... He was beyond expert level.

Showing how to wrap a cut on an arm, he uses some of Dazai's bandages to wrap Gilda's arm as an example.

"Now what do you do when a person is drowning? You must follow the instruction in the DR's ABC..."

The Mafia had its share of courses, run my M*ri for emergency medical care to not lose more people during the war between the Guild and ADA.

Don was busy teaching Nat, Thoma and Lani how to spot an enemy, bringing the younger kids to pretend to be the enemy.

Ever since Norman was shipped out, teaching and preparing were essential to escape. Every day, they would choose a different way to teach the kids things. Today was individual groups that will rotate, yesterday was throwing and ziplining, tomorrow was rockets and the next will be mixed activities.

The plan Emma made so far was that there was going to be a commotion in the middle of the night and everyone above 5 will take their things and run to the gate which Don will go to the other side and tie the rope which will be hidden as Dazai's bandages. If things go well, They will be out before the sun rises.

After months of training, the next shipment came. Ray's one... In the middle of the night, a loud bang came. A sound of an explosion and the smell of meat. The plan had already started.

"RAYYYYYYY!"

Gilda comes into the bedrooms, waking everyone up, well, the one's who were still asleep and ran with Don the Mama's room. Jumping out of their beds, all the children above 5, rush out of the house following. Dazai and Chuuya, heading to the well and running to the wall, waiting for the two 12-year-olds who were still inside.

"Ah...! She's here...!" Chris points to the approaching shadow. Emma stops at a halt to catch her breath.

"Emma!"

"Sorry for the wait everyone!"

"Let's get out of here!"

"Yeah!"

Ray, in obvious shock, stood still, processing what had happened just in the last few hours. Dazai, who was unwrapping his bandages, which were actually the ropes over his bandages walked to Ray.

"Emma did a lot of work when you were away. The children aren't useless, Ray." Dazai whispers.

Chuuya was fiddling with his newly cut hair. He had grown it out for it to be like when he was in the other world but for the sake of making Anna not go bald, he gave up some of his hair. having shorter hair made his head feel lighter which was a feeling he would now have to get used to again. Maybe it was Norman's plan for Chuuya to get his hair cut. Norman had hinted to Chuuya that he should cut it before. A few times actually.

"Hey... Don... What the hell... Do all of these guys know what's going on? About the house... How we are going to escape?"

"Yep," Don replies in a calm tone.

"How?"

"Emma told them!"

Reaching the wall, everyone stops at a halt.

"Don, Dazai, Chuuya and I will climb the wall first. Afterwards, we can hoist everyone else up." Emma says while Dazai gives some of the ropes.

Reaching to the top, all but Emma and Ray, looked to the other side.

"Oi, Mackerel, do you think I should just use my ability?"

"Just wait, Emma has planned this for a long time. Showing your ability will just disrupt the plan and the minds of the children here."

'NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN'

The alarm went off sending Ray into an obvious state of panic. Dazai chuckled. Seeing the coolheaded Ray turn completely opposite was pretty new.

"We'll get to the other side from here...!" Emma points straight to the place of freedom.

Don starts spinning three ropes with rocks at the end before getting stopped by Chuuya saying that a stone was about to fall out. Chuuya activated his ability in case the throw failed and to make it more secure.

starting to spin the ropes again, Don successfully threw the rope to the other side with a tiny bit of help from Chuuya of course.

"Yeah!" The kids cheer.

Grabbing a hanger from his bag, he ziplines to the other side, just like he had practised before.

"AUGH!" Don slams to the other side before showing a lamp to indicate the next step. Bottle rockets. Thoma and Lani projectiles the contraptions attached with rope toward where Don was.

One by one they ziplined to the separate forest, towards their freedom, towards escaping, towards safety.

One last look showed a figure of a woman that loved them. One that did her role as a mum, weel apart from the shipping of course. Letting her hair out, (Ik it's not in the manga but only in the anime but I wanted to add it) Isabella looked at her children lovingly with a hint of deep sadness.

"Damn... She's a Milf..." Dazai mutters quietly. Chuuya readying his hand to slap the brunette stopped when he heard an unexpected phrase.

"What's a milf?" Rossie asks.
