I was on my knees
In the pouring rain
Begging for someone to save me
Someone to love me
And suddenly a break came from the cool flow down my red cheeks
And a voice above me says
"I already have"
He knew that I needed him
And he knew that I was lost
And yet even after I had walked off to a place where I thought he'd never be able to reach me
He found me
He had been waiting on my to call out
Waiting for me to ask him to save me
He said he'd always wanted to
If only I'd allow him
I had never been walking the broken road on my own
Because he never left my side
It's impossible to save someone to who refuses help in the first place
Being able to push past your pride
And give your problems to God
Is where the healing has to begin
