Before I could answer or even get my head around the fact

that Carlos had somehow gotten into Tyler’s exclusive party, I saw a girl hug

him, slightly pushing him off balance before he hugged her back with one hand,

the other one holding the drink he had in his hand. The girl looked familiar.

Trisha. What the hell?!

It was that moment someone decided to push me into the water,

and I was sure it was not an accident as whoever it was wanted it to seem

because on the other side of the pool I saw Sera standing there, arms folded,

and with a look that says, “nicely done”. I decided to hit back. I wasn’t going

to let these girls control my life or force me to do what i didn’t want to by

embarrassing me. Looking at Tyler, he had a shocked look on his face, and I pushed

myself down, forcing myself to sink before pushing myself up again and

screaming, “Help! Cant Swim!” and going back down to stay. Like I had guessed

he would, Tyler dived into the water to my rescue, grabbing me by my waist and

pulling me to him as he swam with us back to surface. It took my all not to

smile, and after opening my eyes on surface, I didn’t feel like smiling

anymore. I saw everyone had stopped and gathered around the pool, shocked looks

on their faces as they watched. maybe the whole fake drowning thing hadn’t been

a good idea after all. But then again, maybe it was, because by the look on

Sera’s face as she stared daggers at me, I could tell she knew I hadn’t been

drowing, and so that was when the smile appeared as I turned my attention to

Tyler when he asked if I was okay.

“Ha, now you’re wet too” I laughed, removing his arm from my

waist and swimming away from him, leaving him in shock. I saw the relief on

everyone’s faces as they got back to partying after making sure I could swim. I

pulled myself out of the pool and for the finale, took off the hoodie and slung

it on a nearby chair, both to piss Sera off even more, and also because there

was no point wearing it when it was drenched.

“Well played” Tyler chuckled, shaking his head to get most of

the water out of his hair before running his hand though it, making it look

messy. I laughed at how adorable it looked... wait.... did i just...?!... I

meant it in a... friendly way?

“Thanks” I shrugged, laughing

“And for payback...” he said, taking a step closer to me. I
