6.The Fun Fair

It was now evening time. All the Allahabad village is now engrossed in spending quality time with their families and friends in fun fair. Basically this fun fair is very big with many food stalls, then many small small shops, the gaming zone, etc etc. All people were having fun time.

He was lying on his king sized bed and was doing nothing. Ri was eating his head.

Ri : Chal na yaar Sid. (LET'S GO NA SID)

Sid : Nahi Ri. (NO RI)

Ri : Yeh kya hain Sid? Tujhe har saal manana padta hain. Tu kabhi bhi nahi aata. Iss baar mujhe jana hain jana hain jana hain. (WHAT IS THIS SID? EVERY YEAR I HAVE TO CONVINCE YOU. WHY DON'T YOU GO THERE? THIS TIME I WANT TO GO GO GO)

(Ri said whining like a kid who wants his favorite choco chip ice cream)

Sid : To tum chale jao na? (THEN YOU ONLY GO NA)

(Ri looked at Sid as if he gave him a divorce)

Ri (crocodile tears) : Yahi thi teri dosti? Yahi tha tera yarana? Ha? Agar yahi din dikhana tha to mujhe maar kyun nhi diya? Kam se kam yeh to sun na nahi padta mujhe. (THIS WAS YOUR FRIENDSHIP? THIS WAS YOUR LOVINGNESS? HUH? IF YOU WANTED TO SHOW ME THIS DAY THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU KILL ME? AT LEAST I COULDN'T HAVE LISTEN THIS)

Sid : Chup kar Ri. (STOP IT RI)

Ri : Kya chup kar? Mujhe jawab chahiye. (WHAT STOP IT? I WANT ANSWER)

Sid (turning on opposite side) : Kaisa jawaab? (WHICH ANSWER?)

Ri (turning Sid towards him) : Tu kyun nahi jata Mele mein? (WHY YOU DON'T GO TO FAIR?)

Sid (sitting on bed) : Ri tujhe to pata hi hain na ki humara jab janam hua tha tab ek baba aaye the aur unhone kaha tha ki agar hum mele mein gaye to mein gum ho jayenge. (RI YOU KNOW NA THAT WHEN I WAS BORN THAT TIME ONE PRIEST CAME AND TOLD THAT IF I WENT TO ANY FAIR THEN I MAY GET LOST)

Ri : Sid mujhe sach bata ki kiya tu abhi paalne mein khelne wala baccha hain jo gum ho jayega? (SID YOU TELL ME TRULY THAT ARE YOU A BABY WHO IS PLAYING IN CRADDLE?)

Sid : Ri tum samajh nahi rahe ho. (RI YOU ARE NOT GETTING IT)

Ri : Tum samajh nahi rahe ho Sid. Abhi tu mere sath chal raha hain mujhe kuch nhi pata. (YOU ARE NOT GETTING IT SID. YOU ARE COMING WITH ME. I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING)

Sid : Agar mein gum ho gaya to? (AND WHAT IF I GET LOST)

Ri : To mein tumhe dhundh lunga. (THEN I WILL FIND YOU OUT)

Sid : Aur agar mein gum nahi hua toh? (AND WHAT IF I DON'T GET LOST?)

Ri (frustrated) : Toh uss baba ko jaake maar dalunga. (THEN I WILL FIND THAT PRIEST AND WILL KILL HIM)

(Sid looked at him with a shock)

Ri : Ja ab. Kapde pehen le naye. (NOW GO AND WEAR SOME NEW CLOTHES)

Sid : Ri yaar...

Ri : Sid maja aayega yaar bohot. Chal toh sahi. (SID WE WILL HAVE FUN. LET'S GO NA)

Sid (finally agreeing) : Thik hain Thik hain (OK OK)

(Ri got happy and hugged him. Sid smiled. Then both got ready and went down. They were going when Kamladevi interrupted them)

Kamladevi : Siddharth kaha ja rahe hain aap? (SIDDHARTH WHERE ARE YOU GOING?)

(Ri made a frustrated face again. Both turned around)
