A while back I got in to PMMM and while I was reading about Soul Gems I couldn't help but compare it to Heaven's Feel from the Nasuverse and the A.T. field, Core, and S2 Engine from evangelion. They all use the users soul to create energy (as in make energy not just change it into a new form). Basically ROB sends someone from our world into the world of PMMM with the 3rd magic Heaven's Feel and an A.T. field in the body of Illyasviel von Einzbern. The protagonist's only goal is to keep Kyubey from trying to dissect it's soul or something in order to gain an endless energy source and give Homura some much needed therapy.
