in this au nightmare thought if he could stabilize the positive energy in dream with negative energy he could turn him to normal so he made an artificial apple of negativity that was stronger then all of the other apples put together... but when he gives up on dream after the deaths of his friends and kevin at the jr he become twisted nightmare by using the apple. He looks like the abyss version of og nightmare but his tentacles look like branches of a dead tree when in their default position and have a more crystal like texture, the gem on his jacket is purple he is stronger than og nightmare or even swap dream he can make ilusion similar to bette noirs ilusions and severed the bond between him and dream the ending is for you to decide but no dreammare they are siblings.
