Ok ... so I want to explain the color thing for this book because a few people are asking :)
Basically, I struggle with identifying emotion and I can get quite frustrated with myself when I don't understand what emotion l'm feeling, which happens a lot. So instead of having emotions, I use colors to tell people how I'm feeling.
I also get frustrated by the question "how are you" and other similar things you know, so to ask how l'm doing, my mum will just say "purple" and to that, l'll respond with another color.
I use the basic spectrum and pink, (because there weren't enough hehe) but it really does help when I'm not sure how to describe something.
I thought it would be cool to add this into y / n, but as she doesn't have emotion, I make her see everything in these colors. I don't actually have a color for love myself, but I decided she should be blind when facing it because "love is blind".
