Y/n's POV

Everyone stood at the entrance to the outpost. The selection in hazmat suits (and myself just to keep the illusion I was mortal), all ready to leave for the sanctuary.

"Well it was certainly interesting living with you all there past eighteen months," Wilhelmina started, as it was mandatory for her to say a parting speech, "I wish you all the best and I hope you all make it out of here safely. I'm sorry for everything I did to all of you, I really am. Coco, you're in charge now," she added on the end, to a crowd of crying people.

"I don't really want to leave now," she sobbed, looking to me, "you're all sort of like family now... a fucked up, bat shit crazy family, and I really love you all. I'm going to miss you all and umm... please try to survive," she laughed a bit and cried some more. By this point, everyone was sobbing, even I had to wipe a few tears.

Without warning, everyone crowded around Wilhelmina and hugged her in a huge, sad, dying group hug.

"I love you all so much," she whispered to them all.

And with that, they all stood back.

"Coco, look after them," she smiled and hugged the blonde tightly. Wilhelmina was still holding her cane, despite not needing it, just so no one would ask questions.

"I will, I promise," she whispered.

"Well... this isn't goodbye," Mina ended her speech, "it's just a 'see you on the other side'," she smiled and then the four of us, myself, Andre, Emily and Wilhelmina stepped into the lift and started to go up into the outside world.

"The sanctuary is seven hours from here. You are all expected to sleep in the carriage," I said sternly, as we all sat down and the black cart started to move through the fog.

Andre sat next to Wilhelmina and Emily next to me. I was across from my darling and I could see the worry radiating from her.

"Everything's OK," I smiled softly to her.

The carriage let out a light blue steam over the four of us, signalling to me that they were sage to take off their suits.

"OK everyone, you may now take off your suits," I said and unzipped my own, before folding it and putting it under the seat.

"And if we don't want to?" Wilhelmina asked.

"You'll overheat and die," I said plainly and in an instant, they were all taking off the plastic suits.

"What's the sanctuary like?" Emily asked.

"Well theres a dome full of trees and nature and stuff, a library, a ballroom, a football pitch, two swimming pools, endless amounts of actual food, beds you can physically sleep in," I laughed, "there's something for everyone," I smiled, "when we get there, you'll be taken and resized. Your clothes will be handmade for you and although I could send the sizes of your outpost clothes, I'm sure you've all probably lost a little bit of weight since those were made,"

"Is sex allowed?" Andre asked.

"Yes. But you have to fill out a form every time you have it, just so we know who is at risk of becoming pregnant. We've tried to make it as safe as possible, without banning it all together,"

"Great," he laughed.

"Will we still get to see you there?" Emily asked, making Wilhelmina become much more alert.

"Yes. I'll be busier but you'll still see me everyday," I smiled

"So you can calm down now Ms Venable," Andre smirked.

"I'm sorry?" She frowned at him, clearly shocked by his comment.

"Oh please, everyone knows the two of you are a couple," Emily laughed.

"They do?" I laughed too.

"Yeah!" Andre agreed.

"Well we're not in a relations-,"

"And I thought we were hiding it so well!" I interrupted Wilhelmina, making her eyes widen in shock I had said that.

"No it was obvious," they laughed, making me smile at Wilhelmina.

"I guess there was no point trying to sneak around then," she smirked at me.

"I love you,"

"I love you too,"
