Chapter 13: The Singing Session

Tom and Hades got back just in time. "Blue flame! Tom! What took you so long?" Ercole asked. Just then, Darla walked through the door with Alberto. "Welcome to my humble home!" Darla smiled as Alberto followed her. "Have a seat!" Darla squeaked as Max and Hades pulled up a chair for Alberto. "Now to work on your singing," Darla said as she searched for songs online. "Where should we start?" Alberto asked, clueless as can be. "Before we begin, let's hear you sing again. From the top!" Darla said. Alberto sang but was still way off key. "No no no! That will never do! Watch and learn, Alfonso!" Darla said as she got up and started to sing. Max started playing the piano.
Darla:

"Ready Alfonso?" Darla cooed to Alberto. "Whenever you are!" Alberto said still under Darla's control and completely still clueless. Darla sang:

Alberto twirled Darla and dipped her. "Alfonso! That was brilliant!" Darla said. "Thanks! You were great, too," Alberto told Darla. "You're such a good dancer," Darla flirted. "I know," Alberto grinned as he helped Darla up. "That's all the time we have for today Alfonso! I'll catch ya later! Max will take you home now," Darla said as Max groaned. Alberto kissed Darla's hand as he left. When Alberto left, Darla sighed lovingly.
