Knock. Knock. Knock.

"Hey," Aaron said as he leaned against Emily's bedroom door frame. She looked over at him through her mirror and smiled.

"Hi. What are you doing up here?" Emily asked as she turned to look at her boyfriend fully. The young man walked into her room with his hands in his pockets. Today Aaron was dressed more casually. The time they spent in New York was enough for him to hate suits for a little while.

"I'm taking lunch orders since Ally is out sick. Elizabeth wanted me to see if you'd like anything to eat," Aaron said as he walked up to Emily. She looked at him from her chair and smiled softly.

"I want a kiss," Emily said as she balled a hand in Aaron's shirt. The young man turned his head towards the door and listened closely. When he didn't hear movement, he leaned down and kissed Emily sweetly. The young woman caressed the sides of his face as she smiled against his lips.

"You're going to drive me crazy," Aaron said as he smiled widely against Emily's lips. "We can't get caught by your mom."

"I know," Emily said as she pulled away from the kiss with sad eyes. Aaron knelt down on the floor in front of her. She couldn't help but lean forward and press her forehead against his. "God, I hate this."

"I know," Aaron said and smiled softly. "We have to stay out of the woods, Emily."

"Well, I am so excited to go touring at the campus if that means I get to stay away from my version of medusa for a bit," Emily said and chuckled softly. Her hands ran over his broad shoulders as she looked at every detail in his face. "You're so nice to look at."

Aaron laughed as a small blush took over his cheeks. Emily couldn't help but smile widely as she saw that small detail. "You know, I came up here for your lunch order."

"Get me whatever you're getting," Emily said as she leaned forward and kissed him gently. He nodded his head as he got up and smiled down at Emily. Aaron placed his hand under her chin before running his thumb over her jawline. "What?"

"Nothing," Aaron said as his eyes had a certain sparkle to them. "Just let me look at you."

Emily couldn't help the blush that came across her cheeks as he looked at her. Aaron smirked as he pulled away from Emily entirely and walking out of the room. He turned back to see her still smiling to herself before making his way down the stairs.

The rest of the morning seemed almost perfect. Emily was left alone upstairs as Aaron and Elizabeth were hard at work downstairs. So far, Elizabeth only asked about Aaron visiting his mother once. When she did, Aaron made sure to give the most minimal details as possible. He was terrified that he would slip and give away the fact that he was there with Emily.

Elizabeth had noticed that Aaron was both light on his feet and carried a sort of weight to him. He was a mystery package as he worked along side her the entire day. Normally, she would be asking Ally all of her questions of curiosity, but now that wasn't possible.
