Almost all of the students who were leaving for the holiday were now down at the station, stowing away their trunks and waving goodbye to fellow students and professors who were staying over the break. Ophelia had suggested the idea that she, Draco, Crabbe and Goyle all escort Blaise and Pansy down to the station as a farewell, and they all agreed. Honestly, Ophelia wanted to go mostly so she could scout the crowd of students who were staying at the castle over break, hoping that there was someone she could talk to that would have an actual conversation with her instead of the tasteless impartial words of "how are you?" and "gosh it's so cold," and "I'm so tired." Those could only go so far as to get to know someone. Ophelia needed stimulating conversations, ones that made her brain think and challenge her.

Just as the train blew its five minute warning, Lorelei, the first year came bounding off the train and into Ophelia's arms. The girl had run so quick that Ophelia didn't even recognize her until she saw the striking blue hair nuzzling into her winter coat.

"I'll miss you, Ophelia! I promise to write you a letter." The girl said, squeezing Ophelia tight before waving goodbye quickly, and hurled herself onto the train with such a high velocity that made Ophelia question where the petite girl kept all of her energy.

As the boarding group began their trek back to the castle, Ophelia was able to scan the crowd just like she wanted earlier. Obviously, all of the Weasley children were staying over the holidays. There was always a ginger head or two around that one could spot rather easily, as there was always some sort of laughter or playful antics that followed them wherever they went. A few Hufflepuffs that Ophelia didn't know by name, she recognized a few by their faces but nothing more. There were some Ravenclaws... Jonah! She caught a glimpse of his pointy ears and curly, black hair, his cheeks flushed pink from the cold air. The ear that she could see had a new piercing, one that hadn't been there before: a small, silver star lying flat on the lobe of his ear.

It suited him; making him more interesting to look at. Not that he wasn't already interesting to look at. Ophelia couldn't deny that he was good-looking, but she didn't see him as a potential interest. More like a brother-type. Maybe.

Shaking off her doubt, Ophelia kept scanning the crowd for more people, looking over her shoulder to see if there were any more people behind her that she might have missed. There were three students walking with their shoulders tightly packed together. They were walking a ways back from the group, and naturally, Ophelia knew who they were almost immediately with just a glimpse.

Harry, with his dark, unruly hair and oversized flannel, Ron with his hand-me-down winter boots that were three sizes too big and made him look like a clown when he walked, and Hermione's bright red puffer jacket, which too made her look like a clown. The three of them talked amongst each other as they walked, whispering excitedly, sharing glances, and pointing inconspicuously at other students. Hopefully, they weren't picking on anyone. Or maybe, Ron and Hermione were helping Harry pick out his next victim after putting them under a spell to make them do whatever he commanded them to do.

Ophelia shook away her dark thought. Of course, that theory could only stem from the excessive amount of time she was spending with Draco. It was completely implausible for Harry to be a dark lord. At age twelve? Utterly implausible.

Then again... Oh, what a horrible thought.
