Chapter 12: Christmas Day!!

(A/N: This chapter will be short but not to short. Also I decided to do a Christmas chapter early I honestly don't know why. Anyways enjoy.)

Terrence POV
Christmas Eve

Even through all the stuff went down with the family I'm glad it happened because if it didn't I wouldn't have met Taraji and that night seem horrible but that's just how it is we've been together for a total of eight months and this is our first Christmas as a couple and this year we will be celebrating Christmas Day at my house then we're going to celebrate New Year's Eve with both of our families we had a family guy reunion last month so both of the families are cool with each other Taraji's family haven't met Tasha and frankly I'm glad they didn't they probably would beat the shit out of her. I just texted Taraji to see if she was on her way with the presents she bought me and Leilani she said she would bit a little late since she had to stop by her place to get some clothes and I really don't she why she needs more clothes because she practically lives here I wish she was I'm actually planning on asking her after we've been together for a year. I was in the living room watching tv and thinking about what to get Taraji I wanna get her something big to go the the other gifts I already got lei's gifts and wrapped them up as I was thinking leilani ran up and sat by me "Hi dad whatcha doin'?" She asked me smiling I smiled to "Nothing just thinking about what to get mommy for Christmas." I told her she hummed "Why don't you get her a promise ring granny told me that when you get someone a promise ring you make a promise them that would never brake granny still wears her promise ring grandpa gave her. Plus she a girl dad she likes jewelry." She said getting and giving me a kiss in the cheek "Thanks Lei I will just don't tell mommy 'Kay." I said smiling she nodded then laughed and went to her room.

After 30 minutes I finally found the ring I was going to give taraji I just have to go pick it up I heard the door open and I walked downstairs and I saw Taraji and her best-friends bringing in the gifts and covering some of them up with covers so we wouldn't see she saw me and ran up to cover my eyes "Don't look Don't look." She said laughing the. She uncovered them then smiled up at me "Hey babe." She said I laughed and gave her a hug and a kiss turned very deep then we heard Jason and Ashunta clearing their throats "Come on y'all damn." Ashunta said Jason nodded in agreement we separated the they both got a message at the same Time they looked at there phones then huffed "Alright T we have to go Nora and Devin wants us to come over to help them wrap gifts." Jason said Taraji nodded "Ok just call me when y'all done." She said they nodded "We will bye y'all." Ashunta said we waved bye then they closed they door and Taraji turned to face "I have to go to baby I gotta go pick up one last present for someone special." I said she hummed "Mhmm for who?" She asked I chuckled and pecked her lips "I can't tell you but I'll be back in like so minutes." I said then after walking out the door. I finally made it to the jewelry store I picked up her ring just in time to and it was already wrapped so all I had to do was put it under the tree. I pulled up in the garage and  grabbed the present and entered the house locked the door behind me and put the present under the tree. I put my coat on the rack and took my boats off and walked in the kitchen. And heard Taraji and Leilani talking and making cookies Leilani was standing on a stool mixing the batter they were facing away from me "So mommy can you give me a hint on what you got me for Christmas?" Leilani asked smiling Taraji chuckled "No baby I can't you have to wait." She said laughing lei nodded and laughed as well I then entered and help them bake the cookies. After we made the cookies we sat on the couch cuddled u and drinking hot coco while watching the grinch. I cannot wait for tomorrow.

Christmas Day

After Leilani opened her gifts turns out we bought her two times worth of toys along with a new iPad that Taraji bought for her and that's all she playing with right now. She had so many gifts that we had to take three trips just to put them in her play room. So after me and Taraji opened up our other gifts we finally got to her promise ring I opened it and pulled the ring out "Baby if you except this promise ring I promise to love and cherish you for as long as I live. You gave me everything a man would ever want a family. So Will You Expect This Promise Ring?" I asked she smiled and nodded then pulled out my gift it was a man version on a promise ring "I was going to say the exact same thing Terry so what do you say?" She asked I smirked and put her ring on and she put my ring on we hugged and kissed then went to go start on breakfast. This could be the start of something new.

Meanwhile At Tasha's House
Tasha's POV

Ever since everything went down the guilt has been eating me alive and it made me realize that ever since we were babies I've been nothing but a complete bitch to my family and to Leilani  especially. And now I'm with Mira and that isn't really making anything better because now I'm spending Christmas alone with her and not my family like I used to do. And this whole obsession she has with Taraji is starting to get irritating I mean I didn't like her at first but after I saw how good she is with Leilani and how she makes Terrence happy for once all that changed. But not everybody changes especially not crazy ass bitches like Mira we've never even had sex she just told me to do that because she wanted to make Terrence mad and at the time I was mad at him because Mira basically brainwashed me by telling lies about Taraji and Terrence. And I finally opened my eyes to see that she is just jealous of their relationship. I am just sitting in my room thinking about everything when Mira walked in and slammed the door and walked in my room "Tasha you won't believe but they gave each other promise rings. Uhh I hate that bitch coming in, stealing my man, and being a perfect mother to MY daughter." She said pacing I huffed "You know Mira she did adopt her and you signed you parental rights over to them since you said you didn't want her." I snapped standing she looked at me "So and why are you sticking up for them your supposed to be on my side!" She yelled "No I'm supposed to be on my families side and I'm missing everything because of you just give it up Mira your marriage was already over you were cheating and you stole some of Terrence's money. And let's be real you only wanna be back with him because of his money." I confessed she gasped "What are you saying don't leave me I told you Terrence used to abuse me you have to help me ruin his life." Mira said I scoffed "No bitch I don't have to do anything and I know my brother would never hit a women or what ever you are cause it damn sure ain't no women. Now I need you to leave my house I want nothing to do with you. I should have never listened to you first you set me up with a women beater Rob then you brainwash me into thinking that Terrence did all of that to you which made me hate Taraji just get the fuck out!" I yelled and she left. I sighed and sat down I grabbed my phone and texted Terrence.

Tasha: Can We talk?
