Date Night ~Coliver

Ok this is super short because I have a really important announcement at the end so please please please read!

Oliver was woken up by his phone, which kept going off. He groaned and snatched it off the night stand. He was a little surprised to see 4 texts from Connor.

From Connor: Hey Oliver

From Connor: So r u busy today?

From Connor: Wanna go out?

From Connor: Like on a date?

Oliver tried to hold back a smile but failed desperately as he typed back.

From Oliver: Sure! When?

Connor replied almost immediately.

From Connor: I'll stop by at 5:00?

From Oliver: Sounds good, see you then

5:00 couldn't have came quick enough for Oliver. The minutes dragged on, hours felt like days. He had a right to be overly excited though, it was the first time Connor had actually asked him out. It was technically their first real date because sex at the apartment definitely didn't count.

He started getting ready at 3:00, showering then analyzing his closet for something to wear. Finally, he decides on a gray sweatshirt and black pants.

When the clock finally displayed 5:00 sudden nerves replaced his excitement. What if Connor didn't show? What if he.... A loud knock broke Oliver's thoughts. He hurried to open it suspecting it was Connor. He was right.

"Hey," Oliver said, eyes raking over Connor. He looked good, well he always looked good but today he looked just absolutely perfect. His hair was slicked down and combed neatly, not a piece out of place. His black pants and tucked in matching button down complemented his figure perfectly.

"You clean up nice," Connor smirked making Oliver blush.

"Well you look extra good today," Oliver mumbled, making Connor laugh.

"You're such a nerd but so damn cute."

"Stop," Oliver moaned, lightly pushing Connor's sholder.

"Come on nerd, we have a dinner to go to and if we don't leave now we'll never make it out this door."

Oliver rolled his eyes,"Fine then let's go because believe it or not I'm actually looking forward to this."

"We'll I mean staying here wouldnt't be too bad, I could find ways to keep us entertained..."

"Shut up and start walking Walsh," Oliver demanded, knowing exactly what Connor was hinting.

Connor just laughed,"Whatever you say."

Despite Connor being Connor the date was perfect. Connor was slightly uncomfortable at first but warmed up quite quickly. The food was good and only one waiter had eyes on Connor.

It was Oliver's best date hands down. Connor could be an absolute pain but he was Oliver's pain and there was no way he was giving that up. Times like these made Oliver forget all the bad that's happened but also made him realize he was in way to deep to let go.
