9. A Loving Reunion

I locked the door in Jon's face and threw myself in bed, crying in my pillow. I hiccuped and sobbed, what if I never see him again? I love him… I love him with all my heart…
I decided I have to tell him how I feel. I got out from my window and ran out of Winterfell to find Jaime, Copper trying to trail behind me but failing.
I ran away in the Wolfswood, and saw the one thing I didn’t want to see. Animals with their mates. Birds, wolves, wild dogs, wildcats. Another tear trailed down my cheek.

In a perfect world

I caught a movement from behind the bushes. I looked at it hopefully, but it was only Copper running after a bird.

They can have their world

I sat on a tree trunk, crying and thinking about Jaime. What I didn’t know is that he was a few feet behind me, feeling nothing but regret for hurting me.

I was so afraid

I turned around and when my eyes met Jaime's, my tears became of joy.

I pressed my lips to his in a longing, passionate kiss. He kissed back eagerly. Jaime’s hand went to the back of my neck, pulling me closer.

We pulled away for lack of breath, and looked at each other lovingly, smiling like idiots. We ran to a river and he tackled me down next to the bank.

I ran my thumb across his cheek. “You’re hurt.” I stated. “Oh, this? It's nothing, I'm OK. All I can care about right now is you.” I smiled at him. “I'll clean it when I have the stuff.” Jaime smiled back.
“Thank you.” He said. I let out a little scoff. “What in the Seven Kingdoms for?” “For caring so much about me. Nobody ever saw me the way you do.”

“You don't need to thank me, Jaime. Your family is so blind. They trained you to kill my father because what they saw in you was a murderer, a man filled with hatred. But it's not true. None of that is true. You are a sweet, caring, golden-hearted boy. You just don’t show it. And your family took advantage of that.”

Jaime pecked my lips once more. His fingers lingered on my cheekbone lovingly with a smile on his face, which made me crack one of my own. “I love you.” He whispered sweetly at me. “I love you, too.”
