Peter and y/n are in the Daily Bugle.
Peter has a couple of photographs of Lizard-Girl and Spider-Man under his arm.
They stop to talk to Betty.
PETER
Hey, Betty.
BETTY
Hey, Pete. Hey, y/n. You guys better get in there. New guy. He's trying to sell some Spidey and Lizzie photos.
PETER
Oh. Thanks.
Peter and y/n start walking towards J. Jonah Jameson's office.
Y/N
I swear, I'm going to kill that guy.
Peter chuckles.
PETER
Just because he's trying to sell superhero photos?
Y/N
No, I just can't stand him.
PETER
Especially when he calls you doll right?
Y/N
Yes. He's a creep.
PETER
Well, it got my blood boiling too.
Y/N
Aww, you care about me.
Peter chuckles again.
They both step into J. Jonah Jameson's office.
J. JONAH JAMESON
Parker. You're late, maybe too late. Brukner beat you to it.
EDDIE
It's Brock, sir. Edward Brock Jr.
Peter shows J. Jonah Jameson one of his photographs.
PETER
But I got you this.
J. JONAH JAMESON
But he got me this.
J. Jonah Jameson points to Edward's photo.
Robbie grabs Peter's photo and starts comparing the two.
EDDIE
Wait, I didn't see you there. How'd you get that high?
PETER
Climbed. Nearly fell off a flagpole.
EDDIE
Flagpole?
Y/n snickers.
Peter elbows her in the rib.
ROBBIE ROBERTSON
Which one do we use?
J. JONAH JAMESON
I like Bernstein's.
This draws the attention of y/n.
ROBBIE ROBERTSON
It's better.
J. JONAH JAMESON
Cheaper too. Congratulations, son. We'll use your shot. I'll pay you 50 bucks.
Y/N
What?!
EDDIE
Alright, JJ, I'm your man.
Y/N
No, wait a second. Peter here, is an excellent photographer while this...guy, is just a...unprofessionalist.
Edward laughs.
EDDIE
You see, baby, that's where you're wrong. I know more about what makes a good picture than any photographer in this town. See, photography, it's not just about, no offense, uh, flagpoles or whatever. It's about lighting. Composition. Drama.
Y/n scoffs.
Y/N
Oh and I'm sure you know all about that.
EDDIE
As a matter of fact, gorgeous, I do.
