Chapter 21

43 ~~INT. PETER'S APARTMENT~~ 43

Y/n is still laying in Peter's bed when he suddenly comes into the apartment from the balcony.

Y/N
Oh, thank God, Peter.

Y/n looks at him.

Y/N
Oh and you're naked. Were you swinging around like that?

PETER
Yeah. I didn't bring clothes.

Y/N
Oh. Well, let's hope nobody looked up.

Peter laughs.

Y/N
Where did you take it?

PETER
I was pretty desperate to get it off, so I just went to the first place I saw. It was a church. It was nearly impossible to get it off of me. But it's gone now.

Y/N
Good. Now we don't have to worry about it anymore.

PETER
Yeah. Good riddance.

Y/N
Well, do you want to lay down for a bit?

PETER
Yeah. That would be nice.

Peter walks over to the bed and gets in it.

Y/n lays her head on his chest as he holds her in his arms.

They both don't say anything.

Y/N
Peter?

PETER
Yeah?

Y/N
The other night, after our fight, I kissed Harry.

Peter turns his head to look at y/n.

PETER
What?

Y/N
I kissed Harry. I don't know why I did it. Maybe it was the heat of the moment, but as soon as I did, I felt horrible. I'm sorry. I had to tell you. It's only fair. I don't wanna keep secrets from you. ...I hope you still love me.

PETER
Oh y/n. Of course I do. I know you didn't mean it. I'd be a fool if I didn't see how much you care about me. Thank you for telling me. I don't wanna keep secrets from you either. After our meeting on the bridge, I talked to Harry. He told me that he was the guy you were in love with. I got upset so I put on the suit and...went after him. I'm afraid I killed him, y/n. He threw a bomb at me and I threw it back at him. He's my best friend and yet I didn't hesitate to make him pay.

Y/N
Peter. It's not your fault. And I'm sure Harry is fine. He might have a few injuries, but he isn't exactly a saint himself.

PETER
I know. I just...wish I had some self control. It was the pain of losing you. It destroyed me.

Y/N
Oh Pete, I'm so sorry. It destroyed me too.

Y/n smiles at Peter passionately.

Peter returns the smile.

Y/n then presses her lips against Peter's.

After a while they break away and she lays her head back down on him.

They are both silent and content as they eventually fall asleep.

44 ~~INT. PETER'S APARTMENT~~ 44

Y/n wakes up.

Peter is asleep still holding her in his arms.

She looks at him and smiles.

A phone suddenly rings.

It keeps ringing until it stops and she hears a girl answer.

It's then silent.

There's a knock on the door.

URSULA
Peter? Y/n? Are you in there?

Y/N
Yeah, Ursula. We're here.

URSULA
Oh, there's someone on the phone for you. Your agent.

Y/N
Oh okay. Thank you.

Y/n quickly gets out of bed and puts her clothes back on.

She then leaves the apartment.

45 ~~INT. PETER'S APARTMENT~~ 45

She comes back into Peter's apartment after the phone call.

She decides to leave him a note about where she's going instead of waking him up.

After she writes it, she leaves the apartment, giving Peter one last look as she does so.

46 ~EXT. OUTSIDE~~ 46

Y/n is standing outside Peter's apartment complex and is trying to get a taxi.

She eventually waves one down and it stops for her.

She gets in the backseat.

Y/N
Thank you. I didn't think anyone was going to stop for me.

VENOM
Of course. So...where to?

Y/n looks at the driver and sees that it's some weird alien creature, Venom.

She cries out and tries to open the car door to get out.

Venom has already hit the locks on the doors.

Y/N
What do you want?

EDDIE
Revenge.

Y/N
How? I don't even know you!

The alien creature's face disappears to reveal Edward's.

EDDIE
How about now? Do you recognize me now?

Y/N
Eddie?

EDDIE
Surprise.

Y/N
What happened to you?

EDDIE
Vengeance happened to me! And now I'm gonna kill you and your little spider boyfriend! But first I need him to show up so you're my hostage. Got that, sweetheart?

Y/N
I'm not going anywhere with you!

EDDIE
Oh you will. I'll make sure of it.

Edward then begins driving away as Venom comes back and holds y/n down.
