Chocolate's Affair

21 5 6

Holding on to the dark brown covers
As if there's nobody to share
Silently uncovering the wraps
that are holding on so tight.

You're my black sugar,
my ice cold coffee
my lips kiss you
cuz, you're the only
sweetheart, I ever knew.

Whenever I miss your presence,
I'm losing my vigor.
You're a barista in brewing
the right amount of caffeine I need.
Too much and too little.

You're my righteous chocolate
which makes me feel,
"Everything is alright, your highness."
And you're the only chocolate
knows how to keep me
balanced through my skittishness.

I really need you so much
that I can't exist without you.
We are now entangled
through the endless loop
of demands and retreats.
Life's so good when
you melt all
the way down in my heart.
