For the Dying Art of Poetry

There are a lot of people
who just hate the idea of
acknowledging poems. (Forget about writing)
They assume that poetry
is something obsolete.

It's not.

It doesn't depend on the words
you choose, how you indent
and keeping the word count
but in what way do you relate.

They are the signals they show
you where you are and where
you'll be going ahead tomorrow.
They show the real person in you.

Being a poet is not easy,

First, you need to start with
a simple theme just exactly like
a photograph and then
bring life to the stand-still picturesque

With all this, you need to
keep up with the stanza size and
ensure that you're concise
with the best-chosen words.

It is no wonder that
people don't give it damn about it.
Just because you call it lame,
It doesn't mean that we
don't call it poetry.
