"Ethan what was that" Evan asked
suddenly coming out of nowhere.

"What?"

"what what?, what did you did in there" he asked.

"What did I did?" I asked raising my brow.

"Don't tell me you acted that way because of mother"

"What why would I? Did you even heard what he said I mean we are in 21st century tell them to grow up"

"You are saying all these because you don't know about Queen"

"He don't even need to know about her" mom shouted.

"What is it that I don't know?"

"Nothing son you should go & rest" to which I just hummed.

"tell me later" I mindlinked Evan, I don't know why but this Ethena name perks curiosity in me.

I entered my room took a shower & decided to sleep a bit because I can still smell vampires scent lingering in air so ignoring them will be better.

I woke up at evening, groaning at the knocks coming through the door, why can't an innocent soul sleep peacefully in here.

"What" I barked at Evan's face.

"Nothing just we were expecting you in the dining table".

"Do I have to?" I asked hoping to get some bail from all this family time.

"Yup" he said deliberately extending the p part making me groan at annoyance.

"Fine lead the way little master"

"Hey watch it" he warned making me roll my eyes.

We reached the dinning table pre-occupied.

"Son come here" my father patted the seat next to him. Everyone bowed to me in respect, well you know I am there future leader I deserve some respect.

I can see everything is my favourite in the table it's my mother's way to show her happiness, she loves to cook & we loves to eat whatever she make.

The thing that I missed the most there was her hand cooked food, it's heaven.

"Alpha I heard you won the spar against Liam" my father's beta asked.

"Yeah a few days ago why?"

"Nothing alpha actually I heard that you put your alpha title at stake for the spar" what the hell is this old man trying to do.

"Yes I did" I replied calmly.

"WHAT Ethan you can't just gamble about your ancestral tittle like this" my mother as usual overreacted.

"Let him speak" my dad interjected calmly.
