Aran was ready packing his bags, he decided to pay his last visit to the alpha & bid his farewell, he knocked the closed door of his cabin,

"Yes?" alpha's voice came piercing the closed door,

"I am Aran alpha" he said calmly,

"Come on in son" the voice commanded & Aran got in the room, only to see Ethan present there with alpha,

"What is it?" alpha asked keenly observing Aran & Ethan's eye talking,

"I am here to bid my farewell alpha" Aran said,

"How could you go without any notice, and you have your mate here you can't just get up & leave now" alpha repudiated his plea,

"Alpha ethan didn't told you..." before he could say ethan was behind him had his hand over his mouth,

"Say it & I'll tell everyone that you spent the night with me" ethan whispered,

"Ethan leave him" alpha commanded to which ethan just raised his hand in surrender,

"Son is there anything I need to know" alpha asked Aran who was busy staring ethan,

"No, alpha I would like to take my leave" he then looked ethan & signed him to follow,

When Aran left alpha turned to ethan,

"So you opted to blackmail him?" alpha asked,

"Naah it's nothing, I made a deal with him that if he'll go on a date with me then I'll let him leave, which he did last night but that was just a bait for the date & he took that seriously" ethan smirked at his victory,

"You seriously have a short term memory son" alpha said with disappointment clear as day in his tone,

"Why so?"

"I told you to make him fall for you, but here you are playing petty tricks, that's not how you make someone love son, you need to be honest with them in everything, you need to make them trust you & here you're breaking it" alpha advised.

"What am I supposed to do then dad, he wouldn't have gone with me if not for this. But I can't even let him go away from me" ethan persisted like a gullible kid,

"Try to be honest with him & see if you get something. And remember if him going away affects you then it would affect him also, you might have heard that 'sometimes distances helps to bring the two closer'" alpha quoted which flew just above Ethan's head,

"Okay apart from last Shakespeare's part, I got everything be honest & let him go" he said with a huff,

"Just remember before all these he was here for the meeting" with a last nod ethan left, he closed the door behind him & wandered in search of his mate but was suddenly dragged by someone in a room,

"Why are you always angry?" ethan asked seeing two familiar angry eyes,

"You cheated me" Aran accused,

"I would never think of touching anyone apart from this sexy body" ethan said trailing his finger from aran's jaw to his neck but was swatted away after that,

"Stop playing games alpha, we had a deal" Aran said,

"Why are you so desperate to leave me" ethan asked & circled his hand around aran's waist,

"Can't you just stay here, in my arms" ethan asked in a vulnerable voice to which Aran just snorted,

"Stop being delusional" Aran shrugged himself free from his grasp & moved away because the proximity was doing some unwanted things with his heart also,
