"Mommy" Cason giggled as I splashed him with water from the bath he was in, "I get you" he squealed and splashed me,

"Hey!" I laughed, "Don't do that. Mommy's going somewhere remember"

"Oh yeah" he aww'd,

"If you don't want me to go, I won't go" I told him, making sure he know he had a say in all of this,

"No Mommy. You go!" he sat up, "Mommy when I meet him?"

I chuckled at his excitement, feeling relieved as well he was okay with all of this,

"Do you want to meet him?" I questioned,

"Well yeah" he sassed,

"Okay. Maybe you can meet him after your trip with grandma and grandpa next week"

Cason grinned and nodded then went back to playing with his boat toys. Cason has handled me going out and dating a lot better than I thought he would. I mean, I guess he's only three and doesn't understand it a whole lot but he's okay with me going out and that shocks me some considering how clingy he typically is.

I finished him up in the bathtub then helped him out and wrapped his towel around his little body. Once I drained the tub, we walked into his room where I put a diaper on him,

"You're gonna have to learn how to use the potty soon," I told him,

"I know" he pouted, "but scawy"

"It's not that scary" I assured, "And we will take our time. I won't rush you into anything"

He nodded then bounced over to his dresser drawers, opening the bottom one to pick out some pajamas. I was not surprised at all when he walked back to me with his gray Spider-Man pajamas. I helped him get them on then we went out to the living room, shocked when Grace was sitting on my couch,

"You know Ashton's not picking me up until seven. It's six" I told her,

"I know" she nodded. I shook my head with a laugh and followed my son to the kitchen where he stood waiting for his snack and chocolate milk. I grabbed his sippy cup from the cabinet and got his milk then opened the pantry and let him grab the snack of his choice, which was a small bag of Skinny-Pop popcorn.

We headed back out to the living room and I cuddled my son on the couch opposite of Grace. Around this time is usually when Cason starts to wear down.

"When you come home Mommy?" Cason spoke up, leaning his head to the side so he could see me,

"It'll be late" I sighed, "If you want, you can go to bed in Mommy's bed and when I get home I'll give you cuddles"

"Okay!" Cason cheered.

Right at seven, my phone buzzed with a text from Ashton telling me he was here. He wasn't coming to the door because he hasn't met Cason yet and we were waiting for that.

I got up from the couch and grabbed my purse and phone,

"I'll be back later. I love you" I kissed Cason's head,

"Wove you Mommy"

"Grace, thanks" I smiled,

"No problem. Get outta here" she smirked. I rolled my eyes and headed out the door.

As I got closer to the car, Ashton stepped out. He looked really good too. He was wearing black jeans and a red button-down shirt with most of the buttons undone,
