{ Hannah }

Ashton was practically pushing me out the door, telling me I was going out for a girl's morning with Grace. He even gave me his credit card and told me to buy whatever and to spend it on whatever.

When Grace pulled into the driveway, my boys waved goodbye and then hurried inside. God knows what they'll get up to. I climbed into Grace's passenger seat and we headed out to start with breakfast,

"Ashton is acting so freaking weird," I told her, "He's been weird all morning and he and Cas basically pushed me out the door"

"Oh lord. who knows what they're getting up to" Grace laughed making me also.

We got to a cute diner and headed inside, getting seated with coffee right away,

"After this, we should get our nails done" Grace suggested,

"Absolutely. Mine look horrible right now"

{ Ashton }

As soon as we got Hannah out of the house, Cason became my biggest helper. I'm proposing to Hannah when she gets home, then Grace is taking Cason for the evening.

I got the whole house cleaned and Cason got all his toys put away, then we packed him to go to Grace's for a little bit,

"I sweep at Grace's?" Cason asked me as I packed his backpack,

"Only if you want to. If you don't that's okay and me and Mommy will come pick you up" I told him. He nodded and grabbed his blankie and Pluto and gave them to me to put into his bag,

"You ready to help me propose to Mommy?" I asked him. His smile grew and he nodded quickly,

"She gonna say yes" he giggled,

"I hope so buddy" I smiled, "Now let's get some food in that belly"

{ Hannah }

Grace got me home but instead of dropping me off, she decided to walk in with me. As soon as I opened the door, Cason ran up and hugged my legs then took my hand,

"Mommy! Come see what me and Daddy did" he bounced, yanking on my hand to follow him. I laughed and followed, as did Grace, except Grace had her phone out like she was filming, which was weird.

Cason guided us to the back deck. As I turned out of the door, there was Ashton. Cason pushed the back of my legs, making me walk toward Ashton,

"What did you guys do?" I laughed. Ashton just smiled sweetly and grabbed my hand,

"Hi," he giggled but was shaking like he was cold or nervous,

"Hi" I laughed back, "You okay?"

"Han, since that first blind date that our friends set us up on, I knew I loved you. There was no doubt about it. We continued to hang out and talk, then you introduced me to the greatest kid there is. Every day we grew closer and closer, and I don't think I could even imagine my life without you"

"And me!" Cason interrupted, making me laugh through the tears that were building up,

"And Cason" Ashton chuckled, "Where I'm getting to is- I don't want to live my life without you, or Cason"

Suddenly he knelt down on one knee and pulled out a gorgeous ring. I couldn't contain my tears anymore and let them fall, as did Ashton,

"Hannah Bates, will you marry me?"

I couldn't get words to form but I nodded then lightly grabbed his cheeks and kissed him. When we pulled away and stood, Ashton slid the ring on my finger,

"Cas Cas helped pick it out," he told me, making me turn to my son who was bouncing up and down next to Grace. He came running to me and hugged me tight as I picked him up,

"You guys did a great job" I kissed his cheek,

"Grace is actually going to hang out with him for a bit" Ashton smiled with a hint of a smirk,

"And that's my cue. Let's go Cas Cas. I think Calum is at my house" Grace smiled and grabbed Cason from my arms, "Call me when you're on your way to get him"

I nodded and Ashton thanked her as they headed out. As soon as they were gone, Ashton picked me up and tossed me over his shoulder, running to our room.

"Can I ask you something?" Ashton spoke up as we laid in bed, our naked bodies cuddled together under the comforter,

"What's up?" I questioned, adjusting my head from laying on his chest to his shoulder, my fingers still lightly scratching his stomach,

"I technically have adopted Cason right?" he asked, making me nod, "Are you going to want to change his last name? You know, when we get married you'll have my last name and he wouldn't"

I smiled and moved more onto his body,

"Of course" I nodded, "I'm hoping to get it done somewhat soon, at least before he starts going to school"

"Are you going to start him this year?" Ashton hummed,

"I don't think he's ready. He turns four in August so he'd be the youngest in his class anyway. I may hold him another year" I shrugged,

"Well" Ashton smiled and kissed my head, "I can't wait for that day and I truly cannot wait to marry you"
