{ Ashton }

I sat on Hannah's couch, waiting for Cason to wake up. Today I was watching him because she had to go into work. Normally she works from home, but for some reason today she wasn't allowed to. So today I was taking care of Cason, then later I get the night with Hannah since Cason is sleeping over at Grace's.

As I scrolled through my phone I heard a door squeak open and tiny footsteps against the hardwood floor. Soon Cason appeared at the end of the hallway in his Spider-Man pjs and holding his stuffed Pluto and baby blanket,

"Good morning" I smiled, tossing my phone to the side. Cason came walking to me, climbing up on the couch with me, his head resting on my arm,

"Did you have a good sleep?" I asked. He just nodded again but this time with a yawn,

"Hungwy" he mumbled, patting my leg,

"What do you want for breakfast?" I questioned,

"Uh" he thought, "Pancakes"

I laughed and got up heading towards the kitchen. I thought Cason was just going to wait but instead, he got up and followed me,

"You gonna help me?" I asked. He proudly nodded making me chuckle.

I got everything out and turned the stove on. I almost didn't want to touch anything because of how clean and organized Hannah has everything,

"Wait! No stove" Cason grabbed my leg. Once he saw I was looking at him, he pulled away and went to a bottom cabinet, opening it up and pointing to something. I walked over and leaned down, finding a small Mickey Mouse pancake and waffle maker. I grabbed it and set it on the counter, plugging it in.

I got his pancakes made and helped him into his seat at the table, then sat next to him once I cleaned up everything,

"What should we do today?" I asked,

"Pway duh" Cason giggled, "We can pway twain twacks"

"We can" I nodded, "We can build the biggest train track ever"

Cason smiled widely and nodded.

After breakfast and once Cason was dressed for the day, we spent a good two hours watching tv. Now I was dragging his two large boxes of train tracks and trains into the living room. I popped the lids off then knelt as Cason started to pull different pieces out.

I built the entire track then Cason loaded it up with trains. He has the battery powered trains so as soon as he turned them on, they all moved and started crashing,

"Oh no!" He jumped, rushing around and trying to stop them all from crashing. I helped him grab them all and turn them off before he sat back and pouted,

"Why are you upset?" I asked,

"They cwashed" he mumbled,

"Well, there were a lot of trains on there. Maybe if we only put a few then there won't be crashes" I suggested. Cason nodded and grabbed two trains and put them at opposite sides of the track. I turned one on and he turned the other on and they made their way around the track not crashing,

"See. All better now" I grinned,

"Tank you" he giggled.

After a long while of playing and eating lunch, Cason was getting sleepy, so it was nap time. He and I laid on the couch and turned on a movie to settle down.
