20. cast party

"You guys wanna come back to my place and we'll order Chinese takeout or something?" Ricky asked the group of friends as they left the set.

It had been a long and tiring first day on set for both Ricky and Nini but the rest of them were used to it.

They had much longer days before so this was nothing for them.

"Yeah I'm in" Gina told the boy, and most of the friends followed suit. Everyone except for Kourtney, Ashlyn, and Nini.

Nini knew she'd be joining but it would make it unusual for her to agree to Ricky's invitation. She didn't want to spoil the announcement.

Ricky looked at the three girls awaiting their answers "so are you guys in or what?"

"Wait we're actually invited too?" Kourtney asked in shock.

"Well yeah" Ricky chuckled "I was thinking of it as kind of a first day in the cast celebration for me. You guys are in the cast so..."

"Nini it's up to you. Do you wanna go?" Kourtney asked

"Who turns down free food?" Nini said in a duh tone "Plus Gina is like my new bestie" she added

"I don't know whether I should be offended or not" Kourtney laughed

"No because I can really use some girlfriends. Dealing with these two plus Red all the time is literally exhausting" Gina pointed to Ricky and Ej

"Heyy" both of them said in an offended tone at the girls comment.

"You know I still love you guys" she laughed and patted both of them on the cheek. "But all of us will come on one condition" she said

Everyone looked around at each other trying to figure out what Gina was talking about. They hadn't even discussed anything.

"And that is..." Ricky spoke up for everyone.

"This evening goes peacefully. No arguments between Ricky and Nini." She said and everyone else shook their head in agreement. They all wanted the night to go smoothly

"Deal" both of them agreed

"Okay then, I guess it's a plan. We'll all meet at Ricky's place"

"So uh Nini. Since we're all going to the same place you should ride with me" Ej said with a beaming smile on his face.

"Then how am I going to get there EJ you're my ride?" Ricky spoke up and Ej elbowed him in his side.

"This is my chance to become friends with Nini, my favorite singer like ever. Don't ruin this for me" Ej mumbled clear enough so that Ricky could understand him.

"Umm sure, if it's not too much trouble" she agreed since she rode to set with Kourtney anyway.

"He's gonna play your music the entire way there Nini. I hope you're ready to play carpool karaoke" Gina laughed

"I didn't realize you liked my music that much" she told Ej

"What the 100 good 4 u references didn't give it away? You're all he listens to." Gina said

"I'm not one of those super crazy fans though" ej interrupted quickly. "I just really love your music" he flashed a smile

"Yeah. Of course not"

After everyone figured out their arrangements for getting to Ricky's house the group made their way there. Set wasn't far from his place at all so it didn't take them long to get there.

"Alright, I ordered the Chinese while we were on our way here so it shouldn't take it long to get here. In the meantime everyone can make themselves comfortable" Ricky said as the cast entered his house
