Arriving at the front doors of the venue, Aurora notices the many cars parked outside and all the security they had around the building. There were a lot of people here. "If this is how big the engagement party is, then how many people are going to be at the wedding" she thinks to herself
Bernardo comes up to her alongside a young woman who was wearing a headset. The woman had blonde hair and was wearing a light blue suit. She had this huge bright fake smile on her face and looked liked an annoying bitch.
"Madonna, this is Mindy, she is the event planner for tonight and will provide more information on what the schedule for the night is" Bernardo introduces
"An event planner....really?" Aurora says
"She was a hire from the Valerio side" Bernardo says raising his shoulders in confusion
"Madonna, a pleasure to meet you. I am very honoured to be working along side you and Mr. Valerio to plan and coordinate all your event needs. I will also be working on your wedding" Mindy squeaks in delight
"Good lord" Aurora rolls her eyes, already annoyed by her squeaky high pitched voice
"For tonight's event, the guests are already mingling around. Mr. Valerio has also arrived and has been socializing with the guests. Now for your big entrance, the host will introduce you and once the doors open, all eyes will be directed to you. You will make your way through to where Mr. Valerio will meet you by the dance floor, for your first couples dance together-" Aurora immediately cuts her off
"Dance? No sweetheart that's not happening" Aurora laughs
Silence
Mindy looks down at her checklist and then back up to Aurora, blinking in confusion
"Uh... the dance is part of the schedule. We simply cannot omit the most important part of the night"
Forming a fist, Aurora was ready to throw a good old punch straight through her face but Bernardo who senses the tension, gently lays a hand on Aurora's arm
"Madonna she's right, a dance is appropriate for tonight's event"
Aurora let's out a breath
"Fine. Continue."
"After the first dance, everyone will go back to their mingling. You and Mr. Valerio will start off your rounds by meeting his family first. Those are the main parts of the night and then we will take it from there with some dancing, fun and food" Mindy ends off saying
She then listens closely to her ear piece, and then talks back into her little mic
"Yes I have her here.... alright entering in 5"
Mindy turns to Aurora and walks over to the doors
"It's go time"
Two men standing by the doors, take their cue and open the doors for Aurora to enter through once she hears the host call her name in the speakers. Behind her was Bernardo and a few of her personal guards. All heads turned to her and all eyes were on her.
