Bucky's POV

I see her, looking happy and gorgeous as ever, holding my hand I suppose dragging me through a field of tall white daisies. She is smiling and laughing, and nothing could make me happier seeing her this way. Until the darkness comes. It bubbles up in the form of dark clouds.

Her face drains of color, and looks to me for help. Lightning strikes the ground and the whole field is suddenly ablaze. But when she reaches out to hold on to me. I'm not there. I've suddenly disappeared.

I hear her scream out my name. My real name. As I told her some time ago, and she calls me by my name on occasions.

I wake with a start, she is safely wrapped up in my arms, her small form pressed up against my bare chest. Her delicate, arms holding me gently. I look at her face, she has the tiniest of smiles in her sleep. I release a low breath, nuzzling my face in her kitten soft hair.

It smells of vanilla, she always smells of vanilla, or cinnamon. I love that. Seeing her safe in my embrace, and her steady little heartbeat lull me back into sleep
