Pat's POV

I can't believe it, the guy who I loved ever since I was a kid but ended up breaking my heart is standing in-front of me.

Dave fucking Walker is here.

"Pat, long time no see"

"It's been months, yeah..." The last time we saw each other was when I broke up with him.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
"I was just uhmm.." Sobrang curious ako since may 7/11 naman sa campus namin before and besides, he got no friends here.
"I'm meeting someone lang" he answered. Sino naman kaya yun? May pinopormahan siguro to dito. I noticed na Agnes was standing pala beside him and parang they were engaging in a conversation before I entered the store.

"Agnes, magkakilala kayo?" Tanong ko sa kaniya.
"Uy naalala mo pa pala na andito ako" Nagulat ako sa sagot ni Agnes, para siyang galit.
"You know pala each other?" Tanong ni Dave. I nodded. He then turned to Agnes
"So your name is Agnes" he gestured his right hand towards Agnes to shake hands with her.
"And you're Dave." Agnes accepted the gesture and shook his hand. "Heard so much about you" Dave chuckled.

"Classmates kayo?" tanong ni Dave
"Yup, she's my..." I don't know what to say so I ended up saying.. "she's my friend" nagkatinginan kami ni Agnes and I think she's not satisfied about what I said.

"Kailan ka pa pumupu-" My question was cut by Agnes
"Pat, una na ako ha? Dami pa ata kayong pag uusapan eh" she started to walk towards the door. "It was good to finally meet you, Dave"
"It was nice knowing your name, Agnes"
"Agnes sabay n-"
"Wag na. See you in class" she answered in a cold manner. Lumabas na sya papunta sa school gate
"I think I should also go na. Our class will start na soon." Gusto ko habulin si Agnes kaya nag mamadali ako
"Yeah yeah sure, It was nice se-" hindi ko na sya narinig kasi lumabas na ako and tumakbo.

"AGNES!!" Sinisigawan ko sya pero hindi sya tumitigil sa pag lalakad. Palagi na lang ako pinag hahabol neto sa campus. Ma la-late na rin kasi kami kaya nag mamadali rin sya. Alam ko namang naririnig nya ako pero di nya ako nililingon.

Naabutan ko sya nung na sa may stairs na kami. "Uy Agnes kanina pa kita hinahabol"

"Oh bakit andito ka na? Nag uusap pa kayo diba?" Hindi sya tumitingin sakin and tuloy tuloy pa rin yung lakad nya so hinila ko siya and I cornered her

"What's your problem ba?" I asked.
"Wala. " pumipiglas sya sa hawak ko "ma la-late na tayo, Pat." Di pa rin sya tumitingin sakin
"Look at me." Nakakunot pa rin noo nya "Nag seselos ka ba?"
"No." Ah nag seselos nga to. Nangingiti naman ako "Anong nakakatawa?"
"Akalain mo yun, si Reoma na campus crush eh marunong mag selos?" Inirapan nya ako
"Eh ano naman ngayon? Oh wow this is amusing to you?" Nginitian ko sya lalo tapos nilapit ko mukha ko sa kanya and lalo sya pumipiglas. "I'm smaller than you pero di ka makawala, kawawa ka naman" asar ko
"Pat, hindi na ako natutuwa ha"
"I like you, Agnes." Hindi sya tumitingin sakin.
"Gusto kita okay? ikaw lang Agnes, ikaw lang."

Napatingin na sya sakin after ko sabihin yun. Hindi na rin sya pumapalag kaya umatras na ako sa position namin. "I'm not the type of person who say things like that out of boredom or entertainment, pag gusto kita, gusto kita. Kaya wag na mag selos okay?" I caressed her left cheek passionately that made her smile. "How do you even know each other by the way?"

"Ah kasi dat-GAGO PAT LATE NA TAYO" Nagmadali kaming tumakbo papunta sa room "Grabe Lasaten ganito rin tayo nung first day jusko ka"
"Teka mamaya na tayo mag usap hinihingal na ako kanina pa ako tumatakbo"

Pag pasok namin ng room na sa loob na si Ms. Mina

"Lasaten and Reoma, you're both late again"

Nagkatinginan namin kami ni Agnes na hingal na hingal and natawa.

What a way to start the day.
