In an instant, the light flickered back on and the guards emerged from the silver doors. All of the players were led to a familiar location, but before they could enter, they halted at the door. Thats when the Manager spoke.

"Player 218, Player 456, player 026 and player 067. Welcome to the final game. Before we could begin we will flip a coin that will decide who plays offense and defense." The Manager put his hand forward revealing a coin. "Please choose a shape Triangle or square?" He asked Gi-hun.

"Triangle." Gi-hun answered as he looked directly at Sang-woo.

The coin clangs as it twirls in the air before landing back on the manager's hand. It landed exactly on a triangle where Gi-hun selected the offense. Next up was (Y/N) who had gotten defense. At first Everyone else assumed they were going to get a choice to choose which partner they wanted until the manager happily decided for them.

"Player 067 will be teamed with player 026 as Player 218 will be teaming up with Player 456."

Every one eyes to broaden up, and assume it couldn't get any worse than this. That was until the manager opened his mouth once again.

"Player 026 will be going against Player 218. Player 067 will be against Player 456."

Suddenly, all the players' hearts scattered into pieces of glass. (Y/N) couldn't even dare to look up at Sang-woo knowing she was going to kill him. Sang-woo on the other hand, refused what the man had said, thinking he would say he was kidding. Unfortunately for all of them that didn't happen. That's when the door opened. They all walked inside where they had played green and red light back in the first game. For one second (Y/N) wondered why they were coming to this area again, until she noticed something was drawn on the sand.

"For the final game, you'll all be playing squid game. Anyways, let me explain the rules."

The Manager went on explaining the rules, while nobody dared to look at their good friend that had just promised to protect each other, where now they will be going against one another. Unknowingly by any of the players, this was planned from the Frontman who he monitored each player to see which person they trust the most. So he can pinned them against each other to entertain the VIPs some more. He knew his actions were injurious but it was job to deliver the games. Even killing someone that his daughter trusted.  Now it was up to the four players to see who would win the cash prize.
Every single one of them looked at their partner now second guessing if they would betray them or not. Especially with (Y/N) and Sang-woo since they were both unpredictable with them being alike yet so different. (Y/N) followed right beside Sae-byeok as they were going to be playing defense while Sang-woo and Gi-hun were going offense. Neither Sae-byeok or (Y/N) had said anything until they made eye contact.

"Don't dare betray me or I'll kill you. Got it?" Sae-byeok camly threatened (Y/N).

"Understood my hero." (Y/N) slightly mocked.

When they both got in position, (Y/N) finally looked up to Sang-woo and Gi-hun who had grabbed a large chunk of sand in their hands, as they started hopping on one foot. Right when (Y/N) and Sae-byeok were about to attack them, sand was thrown at them blinding them as a result. Especially for (Y/N), whose glasses weren't able to shield her eyesight since they flew right around her lenses. Sand clung to both Sae-byeok and (Y/N) eyes as they tried wiping them off the best they could until the sound of fast-paste footsteps sped towards them. That's when the duo's eyes opened and speared out while dogging the swings from the knives. Sang-woo Swung his knife inches away from (Y/N) cheek. Making  her pull out her blade as she dodged another swing, and stabbed Sang-woo right on the shoulder who yelled in pain.
Ignore his scream! Just Ignore his screams! (Y/N) forcibly told herself before being kicked away from Sang-woo, who had just ripped the knife out of his shoulder. From a far it seems the stab didn't faze him, where in fact it stinged like a bitch. In spite of that, Sang-woo didn't allow his weakness to show even with blood starting leaking out from his shoulder. He proceeded to toss (Y/N) knife out of bounds making sure she was unable to retrieve it back. He continued swinging his knife near (Y/N) where he ended cutting her left wrist deeply. (Y/N) groaned as she hit the knife out of Sang-woo's grasp and tackled him onto the ground. Blood splatter onto (Y/N) glasses with it now became a challenge for her to see. Rain started aggressively pouring making it more thrilling for the VIP to watch to see who will win or who shall fall. On the other hand, the Front man was not amused considering he watched his own daughter fight for her life as he did years earlier. Yet how much he was concerned for (Y/N), he did not once flinch seeing his daughter get punched or cut around her body.
