Carrera's Father Figure

After izumi done calling diablo and testa, she sat down in front of carrera while giving her a look of curiosity

"So...mind telling me a little about yourself?" Izumi said as she started the conversation

Carrera who understand her current situation just let out a long sigh and decided to comply with the teacher

"It's just i'm better than the rest of you on any aspects. Nothing special about me" carrera replied as if that is the most natural answer to the teacher question

Hearing carrera's words, izumi simply frown a bit, 'i see now, so she is a narcissist huh? That's a problem..' izumi mutter in her heart

"Well then, do you have a parents?" Izumi asked once again

"No.........actually i do, though i only have a father" carrera who seemed to be thinking for a while decided to answer it

"What about your mother then?"

"We don't have a mother, only father" carrera answered with serious tone indicating she would welcome any other question regarding this

And izumi naturally understand this as she does not pry further into the student privacy, as the sudden stop of the conversation making the atmosphere become somewhat awkward, izumi decided to asked again

"What kind of person he is? Your father i mean"

Hearing this question carrera began to feel uneasy as she keep sweating clearly screaming out her nervousness

Actually, the father she meant is naturally rimuru. But neither rimuru or the other three primordials felt the connection the same way to rimuru as she do

Basically rimuru being a father is just her perspective toward him and she want to keep it secret from the other three, but she somehow blurted it out at this teacher

'now,now...i wonder how many points will drop if i just kill a single person' carrera thought as her gaze toward the teacher became fiercer

After some time of consideration, carrera decided that it is not worth to dropped a few points just because of the teacher and decided to answer her question

"He is an incredible person. Very much so, and i...admire him from the bottom of my heart" as carrera said, she surprisingly let out an very gentle smile that suit her beautiful face

"I see...is he doing okay right now?"

"Haha, i'll be more surprise if he got sick you know? Like i said, he is my hero. He of course, will always be healthy" carrera confidently answer

"If he is really that incredible then, i would love to meet him someday" izumi stated as she herself somewhat understand carrera feeling

"Unfortunately for you, you will never. He lived far,far away from here, so it's not possible" carrera replied with bitter smile as she remembered that she currently is far away from her 'hero'

With such noticeable change of tone, it wouldn't be weird if izumi know that something was wrong

"If it's like that, then why do you guys doesn't just stay with your father?"

As carrera heard this, countless of her memories with rimuru resurface in her mind, she was happy when she look through that memories but it is become more painful for her since rimuru is not by her side this time, carrera then decided to talk to izumi

"You see, since in the past i always love my father. But one day when the five of us including father and my siblings were watching the stars at the open field, he took the five of us into his arm and he said "One day in the future, you guys will eventually have to go on each of your ways, but remember. No matter what my troublesome childrens do, i will always support you guys. If you seem to be in desperate situation, just think of me, i'll always guide you back home no matter how far you are"......he said all of that with gentle tone and full of sincerity"

Carrera then pause for a while to sort out her emotion after remembering that moments

"......and, just so you know that in that moments, all of my siblings don't get along with each other.......but despite that, for the first time in our life, we fell asleep with ease as we know that father will protect us from any danger...."

Carrera and other primordials has indeed lived for far too long, and except for guy,diablo and testa. The other primordials just lived they entire life by continuos fighting. So they rarely got the chance to mature their minds as well

Just after meeting with rimuru, that the two demons began to develop their thinking and emotion for the first time

"He really sounded like a great father" izumi mutter

To this carrera just smile

"Yes. He is"
