Odd Demon

This is the story from hundred of years ago.

The story about a demon who stray off from the path that her creator has intended to.

One who got deemed by a whole demons in the world as weird.

A various cosmic being gather together to create earth, and that what they do. But, humans who lack desire and just blindly worship them, do not has an urge to advance

So these cosmic decided to create a being called demons. And the one who responsible for this creation is a being name Garga

Garga then create the 7 original demons on earth, and order them to tempted humans so that they can advance to more civilized lifeform

And they did just that...

Not until a thousands years later, one of the original demons named adrielle decided to rebel againts the other demons, including garga

"The whole world has advanced from what they used to be. So why can't you people just leave this place alone?!"

She shouted to other 6 demons who came to the village she resided

"It's not a whole world if this place doesn't advance, this is the purpose of our existence! Move adrielle..."

The white demon who also as whitney stated while trying to convince adrielle

"Yeah? And how would you do that? By planting a greed for knowledge? Encouraging corrupted business? Experimental on innocent children?! Like what you did to the entire world?! This is my heaven! The peoples in this village is pure from those desire and only know kindness! I would not let you ruined it!"

The time she spend at this village make her grow attached to it, the only thing she ever received from them is kindness. Even for a demon like her, it's not something you can repay it

"You have "lost" your way adrielle, we have no choice other than to purge you"

The red demon said with emotionless tone as he ready to attack adrielle, but then.

As if adrielle desperate pleading have gotten an answer, the sky turned dark as the cloud began to forming a giant face

"Garga-sama...!"

Adrielle who earlier seemingly fearless suddenly shivered seeing the sky

The other 6 demons immediately fall on their knees as they greet garga

'Thank you very much! Kind sister!'

The words of little lana suddenly resounded in her head..

Adrielle then just let out a smile, she would fought even her own creator if it's the case

She resolve her heart..

'after all, their are legend about a vampire who murder her own creator too right? Haha, maybe i should try it..'

"I......i would do whatever it take to keep this village safe and sound forever..."

Her words that full of conviction making garga replied with a vicious smile

[I heard you loud and clear. Then, i shall grant you wish with your "heart" as compensation]

Diablo who is currently flying to the middle of pacific ocean finally found the small island that he is looking for about 10 hours

"This...no, a barrier that isolate this island from this dimension? Kufufufufu, no wonder this island cannot be found on world map"

Diablo then began to use his magic and coating his body with a barrier that negated inter-dimensional resistance

As he enter the barrier without any effort, he notice that only thing that exist within this barrier is just some small village

The population on this village is barely reached 700 hundred peoples, yet for some reason all the peoples in it is only full of happy emotion

"Ah, a traveller from another country it seems, want me to help you with something?"

An old man who is wearing an ancient clothing asked him with a genuine smile

"I'm looking for a girl named adrielle"

As diablo said so, the old man smile seemed to be even wider as if he is really happy to heard that

"Hm, hm, you got a good taste young man! Adrielle is beautiful yet so kind, you really won't regret it. Alright, let me guide you to her house"

Diablo who know about the old man misunderstanding decided to remain silent about it

As they walking, diablo notice that a lot of peoples seemed to buying a firewoods

"Ah that? You see, winter will be coming in few days, so we need to stock the firewood as much as we can. Oh! Perhaps a young one like you call it christmas? Hahaha, adrielle is the one who came up with that name!"

Diablo who heard this explanation just smile without saying anything

'so the season in this dimension is different from the outside'

He confirmed it. But somehow, something doesn't feel right. Diablo couldn't pinpoint what that is, but his feeling tell him so

It's another normal day for adrielle, she would just wake up and sitting near the window while reading her favourite book

'it's bitter..'

Every drop of her drink is something she tasted for thousand of times, but this time, it's especially more bitter

She who heard this knocking closed the book and went to open the door while still holding into the drink

But the moment she open the door, an unimaginable scene appear in front of her eyes

*Pang!*

The cup she holding fall and shatter to pieces on the floor

"Who......who...who are you?"

She asked with an sorrow and shocked tone at the same time, after all she couldn't recognize the man in front of him

"Pleasure to meet you miss adrielle, my name is diablo"

The young man smiled sweetly as he introduce himself
