Society

The hierarchy of demons is simple. Power decide where you are, as long as you slightly stronger than the others, you will be treated as a king.

But it's not that simple when it come to humans society.

Question. The world or society can't be change, so you need to adapt to society for you to be accepted as one of them. And to adapt you need to change yourself, so how would you do it?

"That's why i tell you two, unlike ultima and testa you guys rarely even interacted with other humans"

Rimuru said in tired tone, carrera and diablo who is kneeling on front of him can be seen clearly disturbed by rimuru's words

"R-rimuru-sama.......i have a single human subordinate! A-and the cafe is always full too!"

Diablo tried to tell rimuru about that but hot quickly interrupted

"Sure, you have a single human friend, but that's not gonna make any difference. And about your cafe? I'm pretty sure most of your customers is not even human"

To this diablo just shut his mouth not wanting to speak any further

"And carrera? Any excuse? You don't even go to school anymore and just keep lazing off at home"

"Kuhk .....i'm sorry rimuru-sama"

"What? You too vanilla! Don't you think you can get away, go play outside with the other cats! Stop lazing off with carrera"

After another 15 minutes of nagging, rimuru finally stop and take out a single pamphlet out of his bag

Rimuru then smiled mischievously toward carrera question

"Camping program! You two gonna go on holiday as volunteer toward middle schoolers camping program!"

'hmph! To be honest, shizu-san originally asked me to do it but i got some stuff to do, so i'm dumping it to my children!'

After some persuasion (threat), the two finally agree to do the volunteer program, though rimuru reason (excuse) for them to go is all literal bullshit

"Then, goodluck guys! And while you going there please tak care of shizu-san for me!"

With that rimuru left the house with a smile as bright as the shining star

So that's how we ended up here. Sigh, too many insects, moreover i'm stuck with this troublemaker, i wonder if i could safely fulfill rimuru-sama order

"Hey, you good? I don't think this trip gonna be easy.."

We are currently in the bus with the other volunteers and teachers, though the other volunteers seemed only around age of high-school students

"Um..? Diablo-san and carrera-san right?"

It was shizu, among the primordials i'm the one who know her the most, so i'm not that shocked to see her, but...

'diablo, you smell that?'

'yes, it is a smell of blood'

It means that this shizu has already killed someone, i wouldn't care if this is on cardinal world, but it is a serious issue in this world

"My name is shizue izawa, one of the teachers here. I heard a lot about you two from rimuru-san"

"So you are that shizu huh?"

She just smile politely receiving our greetings, i'm not gonna let this chance pass as i take a peek into her soul. I'm pretty sure is doing the same thing

The messed shape of her soul told us all, usually only crazy people or someone who has serious mental illness have this kind of shape. It is a wonder of how she still acting normal

Carrera said to me through the telepathy, she sure is excited find this interesting human

"I hope we got along well in this trip!"

Shizu said to us while keep smiling

"Alright then!"

She then left to greet the other teacher, i don't know why but going on a trip while she is still on that condition is dangerous to her and.....other people

"That is izawa-sensei, she is kind right?"

Suddenly someone speak to us from behind, but before i could reply

"Damn you! Who the hell do you think you are speaking informally to us like that huh? Can't wait to see your ancestor?!"

Oh rimuru. Can someone please murder this damn demon already?

"Haha, i'm sorry. My sister is kinda sick in the head, please forgive us"

I cover her mouth before she started spouting another bullshit. Forgive me rimuru-sama but i don't think i could survive this trip
