CHAPTER 10

As per the boon of Rishi Kashyap, Daitya-Mata Diti gave birth to twins and named them Hiranyaksh and Hiranyakashyap.

Because they were born at the most inauspicious time and for even more inauspicious reason, they both grew up to evil, arrogant and cruel.

As they grew up they had only one aim in life to take revenge for their mother and their brothers from Indra. But they both knew defeating Indra would be no easy task as long as they didn't had superior power.

"Apaar shakti ki prapti kaise karoge Bhrata ?" Hiranyakashyap asked as he shot an arrow at a little fawn.

Hiranyaksh had a sinister smirk plastered on his face as he hits the head of the fawn with his mace, brutally ending it's life.

"Issi bhaati mai apne Bhrata Indra ka bhi kasht dur karunga." Hiranyaksh said pointing at the dead fawn.

"Kintu kaise ?" Hiranyakashyap asked.

"Mai brahmadev se vardaan prapt karunga, jisse mai teeno Loko mei sabse shaktishali banu aur sabhi jeev mera swamitya swikaar kare !" Hiranyaksh proclaimed.

Another problem now awaited the devtas while they already suffered from one. Defeating Mahishasur seemed impossible to them, for years they have been trying but failed. In these years he had gathered an even bigger army and demonic weapons.

Currently all devta were in Kailash with Tridev, Amarsri and Srinav discussing how to get out of the situation.

"Mahishasur ko ajay hone vardaan hai Devraj amar hone ka nahi." Srinav said.

"Kintu uska ajay hona amar hone ke hi baraabar hai prabhu. Kisi bhi yoni ka purush usse maar nahi sakta, iska kadachit koi hal nahi...." Indra said.

"Aap woh hal dhundh rahe hai Devraj jo aarambh se aapke samaksh hai ?" Narayan said.

"Tatparya ?" Indra asked.

"Mahishasur ko vardaan mila hai, ki use kisi bhi yoni ka purush nahi maar sakta. Kintu uske abhaydaan mei Nari sammelit nahi hai." Mahadev said.

"Nari ? Aisi kaunsi Nari jisme itni shakti hai ki woh Mahishasur ka annt kar sake ?" Indra asked.

"Devraj, kya aap uss Nari ko bhul gaye jo swayam shakti hai ? Woh shakti jisse shrishti ka janm huya hai ?" Amarsri asked.

"Mai nahi samjha." Devraj muttered confused.

"Devi Parvati." Brahmadev said clearing his doubts.

"Mata Parvati iss hi udeshya se Rishi Katyayan ki putri Katyayani ke roop mei avtarit huyi hai." Srinav said.

"Aap sabhi ab devi Katyayani ke paas jayiye, apne shashtro se unka Sringar kare. Tab tak hum Mahishasur ko lalkaarte hai." Amarsri said.

"Jaisa aap kahe devi." Indra agreed.
