The next morning you awake to light streaming into the hospital room. You were discharged as long as you stayed with Spencer and were in contact with your doctor.

Sitting in a wheelchair Spencer pushed you out to the awaiting black BAU van

"Your carriage awaits" Spencer laughs opening up the door

"My prince" you laugh sarcastically sitting in the passenger's seat

The first few minutes of the drive are quiet, you don't know Spencer too well outside of work and was unsure of how to talk to him.

"Oh, I should call the team, here is my phone do you mind calling Hotch and putting it on speaker phone" He says reaching for his phone lodged in his pocket

Dialling Hotch's number you put it on speaker allowing Spencer to talk

"Hi Hotch, y/n is doing well, the nurse said I need to look after her until she is cleared to go back to work. We are on the road heading back now" Spencer informs

The rest of the team says hello and sends their well wishes

After hanging up the van continues to stay silent until you decide to break the ice

"Hey, Spencer, thanks for staying at the hospital"

"Of course, I wouldn't want to wake up alone, I figured you probably wouldn't either"

"Yeah, I would understand though, everyone has their lives to live outside of work" You state nervously

"They all felt bad for leaving, but as for me outside of work I'm not very busy, which I know is probably shocking for you to hear."

"Very. I thought it was this whole superhero Dr. by day, average genius by night" you laugh sarcastically

"Average?" he questions with a smile

"Yes, you and the many other geniuses I know" Spencer laughs

"How have you enjoyed your last two months three days working at the BAU" Spencer says

"You keep track of how long i've been here? I'm kidding, yeah it's been good" You smile

"You're lying, I've noticed you don't smile much around the office, you look sad when other conversations are happening, and I know you pretend not to hear what goes on around you, but you feel left out when JJ, Penelope, and Emily have their girls night and don't invite you. Or when everyone makes plans but nobody makes them with you"

You sit in silence for a moment

"You're profiling me"

"It's hard not to when I understand how you feel" He says quietly

"You? Everyone loves being around you." You say quite shocked, out of everyone in the office Spencer always seemed to be liked by those around him

"Sure, at work, I'm the guy who knows the facts and statistics, but outside of the office I don't go anywhere either. Conversations go on around me that I am not apart of, nobody wants the guy around them who can tell you all the facts about alcohol but will barely drink"

"I like having you around, I didn't know you felt similar to me" you speak shyly

"I enjoy being around you too, maybe i didn't communicate that enough" He says with a kind smile

Spencer quickly stops by his apartment and packs a bag to bring with him.

Arriving at your place he gets out of the van and runs to open your door
