Laughter, leg-pulling, camaraderie and the pungent, tangy whiff of turmeric in the air - a Haldi ceremony is all this and more.
The decoration was as popping as it can get. Vibrant tassels, cushions, draped in shades of yellow add to the fun and funk of the ceremony. The quirky yellow was balanced out with fuchsia pink or green elements. Everything was decorated by DIY decor like using flowers, hand-made props, vintage cycles, umbrellas, lanterns, kalash and more. Decorations was incredible, it was mood lightning and set-up to jazz it all up!
Any Indian wedding calls for a zest and joyous mood and that again calls for some great outfits for dolling up. And here everyone were ready in yellow dresses. Women and girls were wearing different kinds of saree and lehenga, and men were seen in manarkalis, dhoti dress and quirky floral print designer gears or suit.
Nischay chose to wear a yellow kurta and sharvari wore a simple lehenga.

"Are you ready?" Nischay called out sharvari from outside and she opened the door revealing her beautiful self.
Nischay just kept gazing at her, she was looking so beautiful and so with Sharvari, she kept ogling at him because he looked no less than a hero.
Their trance was broken by a throat clearing sound, looking up they saw abhishek and manya standing their. Abhishek was also wearing a yellow kurta with white dhoti and Manya was wearing a yellow simple lehenga.
"If you both are done checking out each other, can we go?" Abhishek teased and sharvari kinda blushed.
"Ey chal ab jaldi" nischay said quickly taking abhishek with him and manya laughed and bumped her arm with her didi's shoulder teasing her and sharvari glared at her.
The ritual was going to take place during the morning where the paste is applied to the bride's body including her face, neck, hands and feet. The near and dear ones waited for their turn to anoint the bride with haldi paste. Slowly and steadily, the ceremony turned playful where everyone started applying it to each other.
The haldi ceremony is incomplete without some traditional and Hindi folk songs. Songs were playing and everyone were dancing while applying haldi to each other. Everyone were enjoying. The song and dance makes for a crazy ceremony filled with naach-gaana and laughter!
