20 Facts About Imprisoned by the Tyrannical Demon Lord

1. Imprisoned by the Tyrannical Demon Lord was originally titled Ruby Fell Into The Abyss but then later changed to Fall into the Abyss before being changed again to its current title.

2. The novel was originally supposed to be a 2-shot smut fanfiction. The first chapter contains how Ruby would fall into the Abyss and be trapped by Dyrroth and the second chapter was supposed to be the last chapter where Dyrroth would bang Ruby in his throne room in front of all his demons. Ruby would realize that she could never leave the Abyss given Dyrroth's obsession with her so she surrenders herself and f*cked him for the rest of forever. A portion of this concept was later revived in the one-shot chapter of Red Like Ruby entitled "Princely Duties.

Since the readers seemed to like the story very much the author decided to expand the story into a 5-chapter mini-novel but then she gained more ideas and expanded it to a 10-chapter mini-novel. Currently, the novel has 40 chapters and still counting. 😅

3. Each chapter usually has 3,500-6,000 words however the author realized that it might not be very bite-sized for the readers. Taking into account the attention span of our generation, the author decided to limit it to an average of 3000 words.

4. Originally, Selena was supposed to be the one to kidnap Ruby and bring her to the Abyss after fighting her in the ruins for a powerful relic. Selena was supposed to be Ruby's love rival with Dyrroth but the author decided against it. Instead, she chose to make Selena Ruby's friend and later on Lunox was introduced to be her lover. We need more girlxgirl ships because it's cute and I ship these two mages.

5. Aside from a dynamic girlxgirl relationship, the author paired Selena with Lunox because both of them are being shipped with Dyrroth which admittedly infuriated the author so she decided to give those shippers a big "fuck you" by making them lesbians together and friends with the demonxloli pair. Also, the author saw a fanart about that on Instagram so...

6. It was never fully described what Sorca looked like so the author decided to write a short description of Sorca's appearance.

Sorca looked like she was forged from the magma that flows vibrantly in the Abyss. Her crimson skin was beautiful like the fire which glows like gold when the light of the brazier illuminates her skin. Her eyes are a bright pair of silver which she used to stare daggers at those who displeases her. Her face was angular characterized by a strong jaw and well-defined cheekbones giving her a natural contour. Her charcoal black hair flows majestically on her back reaching mid-waist. She usually allows her hair loose on her shoulders but sometimes they would be adorned by small braids or a ponytail when she's training. Her spider wife, Araigne, loves to style her hair.

For Ruby, Sorca looks like a goddess of war.

7. Araigne, Sorca's wife, has not yet made an appearance in the Novel. She was mentioned a few times but she is yet to reveal her identity. The only thing confirmed about her is her species.

She's the reason why Sorca always has fashionable clothes usually black. Dyrroth had also declared that Ruby's clothes in the Abyss were typically made by Araigne who was amused by her small proportions.

8. The Author wrote a prologue for the story long after its first chapter. It contains why Ruby was among the participants of the mission to kill the nevermores and where she was actually supposed to go before being persuaded by Alucard and Granger to join their mission.
