Third pov

The wind was blowing along with the dust making it impossible to see through. The sound of helicopter blade was too loud. The firing stopped from the both sides as everybody looked up to see the person.

Finally after one and half year the person they're waiting for is now here. No one believed that it's him even though they couldn't see the person clearly but little did they know it's him. It's Pearl.

Everyone present their was happy except for one man who was standing there cowering in fear. Sebastian knew Pearl Salvatore was disappeared for a long time and he took that as a chance to get his hands on all the mafia. He knew he couldn't do that in his presence so when one of his men informed that other mafia prince's were here he knew something happened. He send one of his men uncovered to find out what's happening inside the mafia. It's like fate was with him he got the biggest information, Pearl was disappeared from the face of earth. It was his only chance to win everything. He already killed Luca Giovanni and his daughter. He didn't even know why he's doing all these but seeing Luca with all the power and the people in his feet, that's exactly what he want. The hunger for power blinded him completely that he didn't see what he has done. Staying here would be foolish, so he ran away without anyone noticing.

Ofcourse after seeing his family after so long he wanted to hug them and apologize for his disappearance but seeing his father limping over Damon ,blood coming out of his chest he decided against. One look at Damon and he knew what Pearl wanted. Even though these two aren't blood related but they can understand each other without speaking.

Damon nodded at him through blurry vision and the next second the helicopter flew away.

"It was Pearl, isn't it?" Antonio asked still in daze.

"Si."

Looking around all the men was gone. The police was still there taking in what happened. Without wasting any second Damon carried a knocked out Stefano on his shoulder as they sped off to the hospital.

People were pacing back and forth impatiently waiting for someone to come from the door. It's been two hours since Stefano is inside the OT. Damon keep glancing through the small hole as they operated on Stefano.

"starà bene." Antonio said putting his on Damon who just sighed.
[He'll be fine]

"Si, lo so." Damon said and sat beside the others. They all looked tired. Liam went back home to freshen up. James and Alessandro stayed with the others.
[Yes, I know]

"He should be here by now, why isn't he?" James said no one in particular.

"The cops saw him. Do you think they will let him walk on the streets like nothing happened?" Alessandro said. The atmosphere tensed around them. Even though Pearl was back they know cops aren't going to sit just like that.

"He'll find a way." Steve said looking at the others.

"He's father is in hospital, what's taking him so long." James irritated voice make the others look at him. "It's all because of him if he didn't just ran like a pussy. People die every day and we have to move on in our life. We can't just leave everything behind." James continue.
